More from Sawday's
In 2017 we saw 36 creative spaces added to existing sites by our Owners. We’re excited to support our Owners who are looking to develop their site further and are always on hand to give any advice or direction. For now, we’ve chosen five places that have been recently added to an existing site in our collection, highlighting some potential aspects to consider if you’re thinking about branching out.
Yvette’s latest creation, Humble Bee was added to her Honeyside Down site alongside The Bird Box. It was a magnet to press, covered in Stylist magazine, Metro (and Metro Online), Good Homes and The Times. We’re not saying everyone should go and build themselves a giant beehive, but don’t be afraid to let your imagination go wild.
Caban Cadno was David and Ceri’s fifth addition to Beudy Banc, and they have continued to remain beautifully simple with their designs. The cabins make the most of their rural setting, hosting big glass windows which frame the incredible views from the cabin perfectly. This not only keeps costs down but encourages guests to embrace the outside and to ultimately make a connection with nature during their stay.
Treehouses are the ultimate addition to a site, with 'treehouse’ remaining the most searched term on our website. With them in high demand, it was a no-brainer for Serena when she considered adding Netherby Treehouse to her estate. The treehouse’s cosy interiors and great views are attracting many, and we’re expecting it to get even more popular with the imminent arrival of a hot tub.
