Overview
Hop Cabin joins two neighbouring cabins and a converted horsebox at The Hop Garden at Kingstone Brewery. Whilst you may bump into other guests around the site, the cabin itself sits in its own treelined patch at the bottom of the land and was Ed & Tori's first home here! As part of a constantly evolving site, you’ll spot the greenhouses on the way in, still being fashioned for purpose, they’re slowly beginning to produce vegetables in their formative stages – a work in progress. Keen not to disturb the deer and rabbits that visit, they try to leave the area to rewild. Owners Ed and Tori are busy running the brewery, and home schooling six kids respectively – so if you’re lucky enough to come across them, ask about how it’s all developing! Otherwise, if nowhere to be found, send them a text with any queries.
Inside the cabin, there’s a comfy double bedroom, living room, kitchen and an ensuite bathroom with a big bath and plenty of hot water, so you could well just lounge around the wood burner all day and only venture out to stock up on bottles of treacle-coloured ale at the brewery shop. But if the river’s calling, pack your sandwiches, a couple of bottles of Kingstone Gold and put your best paddle forward canoeing down the River Wye!

Our guests say...
Katie, Canopy & Stars
Our second stay at the Hop Cabin was as marvellous as the first, even despite us going in the off season. The place is very easy to get to from where we're based in Bristol but feels like stepping into a different world every time. The Kingstone Brewery grounds are set just far enough off the road to achieve almost complete seclusion, and being able to hear the birds very clearly in the woods around you in the morning is magical. The cabin itself is very cosy, and as soon as you enter through the front door you know your stay will be special. We will definitely be coming again!
14/02/2025Alexander
Lovely private, quiet cabin. The hot tub was the highlight of the trip with clear skies perfect for star gazing. Tintern is only a short walk away. Overall, perfect for a little weekend break.
24/01/2025Tilly
We had a lovely mini-moon where we were able to relax, cosy up and drink beer. We had a brewery tour with Julia who was amazing, we had a lot of fun with her and she did a great job looking after us. We are big beer drinkers and we loved every beer! The hot tub was lovely and we sat drinking champagne to toast our marriage whilst listening to the rutting of a nearby fallow stag! We spent some time in Tintern, looking at the abbey and walking around the mill and let’s not forget enjoying local rabbit pie! It was just the few days of peace we needed to wind down from our wedding.
17/10/2024Kathryn
This was a lovely little cabin in Tintern. The cabin was really nice and enclosed with its own hot tub. We managed to easily get to some walks and cafes in the nearby area. All in all, it was a lovely stay!
27/09/2024Phil
Absolutely brilliant. We loved getting to try some of their Ales made on site, even though there are other cabins in the area, it felt so peaceful and remote. We loved sitting out on the porch reading, the hot tub and playing games inside when it rained. Just perfect for a relaxing couple of days away from the city and a great location for walks/local pubs and well placed to drive to locations for kayaking on the river.
14/09/2024Emma
Very rustic, back to nature and very relaxing
09/09/2024Elaine
Despite the unseasonably cold weather we had a very pleasant weekend.
27/04/2024Pete
We had a lovely restful, relaxing time away from the hubbub of busy city life. The Hop Cabin is so peaceful, most of the time all we could hear was the birds which we love. The countryside is beautiful, clean, uncongested and the nearby village of Tintern is very nostalgic. We love coming here, it is our 9th or 10th visit since we first came in 2018. The hot tub is a fantastic addition, we are already thinking of our next visit(s) next year
23/03/2024David
Very relaxing place, easy to find
11/02/2024Simon
We really enjoyed our stay at Hop Cabin. Once we got the hot tub up to temperature (prioritise getting this on when you arrive!), it was easy to maintain and we loved the privacy of our little cabin.
15/12/2023Stephanie
We had a fantastic stay in the Hop Cabin at the Kingstone Brewery. The area was beautiful with lots to see and brilliant walks close by. The cabin was clean, hosts helpful and we felt completely relaxed. The beer was top notch and the wood fired hot tub was such a luxury. Would definitely come back and would recommend to everyone in a heart beat.
08/12/2023Alex
Lovely relaxing few days at hop cabin! Perfect cosy little base, very well located!
19/10/2023Joe
Amazing location, great experience staying in the cabin which was clean and very cute.
08/10/2023Rubina
Amazing stay at Hop Cabin. The area is stunning and the cabin was perfect. Beautiful cabin with everything you need in such a peaceful secluded area. The hot tub was lovely to relax in at night. We will definitely be back.
01/10/2023Joanne
A much needed mini getaway for some quality time to reconnect and relax. Perfect break for my partners birthday. Relaxing area and locals all very friendly. If we had just stayed at the cabin and not gone out exploring we still would have had an amazing time. So much nature to look at and our own secluded area meant we could have spent the whole time there without seeing anyone else. Exploring the local area was really worthwhile though and we had plenty of yummy treats while out and about. Looking forward to returning in the future.
29/09/2023Katie
We had a wonderful couple of days at Hop Cabin. Cabin was cosy, well equipped and everything straightforward and worked well Lovely secluded garden to enjoy hot tub privately. Great location as at the cabin you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere but without taking the car you could walk into Tintern for a meal/ice-cream etc.
01/09/2023Peter
Such a wonderful place, we had 4 magical nights, around the fire surrounded by nature. The perfect reset.
18/08/2023Zoe
I booked the Hop Cabin as a last-minute treat; I've previously visited the area, and I wanted to show off this beautiful part of the country to my partner. Reading the reviews, I saw that another visitor had caught the train to Chepstow and walked to the cabin via Offa's Dyke and I loved the sound of that so we copied that. The 8-mile walk has some spectacular views of Tintern and the valley and is through some beautiful woods along the Dyke. It also added to the sense of getting away for an adventure. The cabin is lovely, in a quiet spot and a 30-minute walk from Tintern. Other than walking to the cabin, we had a pub meal out in the Wild Hare in Tintern, visited the abbey ruins, and loved the brewery tour/talk by the hosts (thank you for accommodating this), enjoyed the hot tub and ran back along the Dyke to Chepstow and caught the train home. A perfect couple of days.
02/07/2023Ben
Booked a weekend away for our wedding anniversary, easy check in/out. Fun tour of the brewery absolutely beautiful location. They had a fire pit which was so fun to cook on!
23/06/2023Tina
The Hop Cabin is an amazing location with plenty to do and see for a weekend getaway. The brewery that the property is located on is lovely and we loved the beer tour. I couldnt recomend this place more! 10/10
10/03/2023Daniel
We stayed for two nights on a very cold January weekend. I got the train to Chepstow and ran there along the route Offa’s Dyke path. On arrival, I got the fire on, ready for my wife to arrive. I discovered the imperial stout - a very good post run beer, so I was very happy with that. Had a nice hot bath and heated up a stew for dinner. Next day, we got up early and did a 15 mile circular walk to St Braivals. Had a pint well before 12 but it felt much later, so who’s counting. Walked back along the Wye Valley Path on the other side of the river valley. Was disappointed by the pubs in Tintern. The Rose and Crown did the trick though for a post walk pint. Fire on and baths when we got back in. Tortellini, a glass of wine and an earlyish night. Up and out the next morning well before the 10am checkout time. Went for a 9 mile walk from St Braivals to Redbrook. I may have told my wife it would only be 5 miles, so she earned her Sunday roast that day. A very enjoyable weekend all in all. Will definitely be heading back to the Wye Valley to explore some more.
20/01/2023Matt
We had such a lovely relaxing break in Hop Cabin, it was quiet, secluded (there were other guests staying at the same time but the cabins are dotted around natural woodland so it felt lovely and peaceful) and so cosy inside with the woodburner going! We very much enjoyed the beers too!
25/11/2022Lisa
Lovely and tranquil. Very peaceful. Great place to stay. Our cabin had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.
14/10/2022Mary
Clean and comfortable cabin in a secluded spot close enoughto walk to local sights, shops and restaurants. Major visitor centres within a few miles, castle, caves, mines, steam railway, historic walks. Cabin has basic cooking facilities but dont be looking to cook a 3 course meal. Free sample beers from the brewery and logs for the fire. No shower but plenty of hot water for the bath. Bed extremely comfortable. Take a torch.
01/10/2022James
We spent hours reading on the decking, from sunrise to sunset. The space was very green and had lots of space to play garden games and eat dinner outside.
11/08/2022Siri
We are feeling very relaxed after a lovely stay in the Hop Cabin. It was a beautiful cabin, with a huge private garden and the front and a BBQ/ Fire pit. We were pleasantly surprised at how big the place was and how comfy the bed was!
05/06/2022Ella
Had a great stay in the Hop Cabin - we loved it's rustic charm and it's location, it's perfect for a country get away. The bed is also very comfortable!
29/04/2022Ben
We had a lovely stay at Hop Cabin. It was peaceful, good location and private. We hardly saw anyone whilst we were there, so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves! The fire was the highlight of the cabin - helped to make it nice and cosy when it was just so bitterly cold outside! Thank you to the owners for putting on the heater in the bedroom too!
20/01/2022Leah
This location is incredible, the hop cabin itself is cosy, warm, comfortable and very private. We loved our stay, thanks so much.
14/12/2021Kate
The Hop Cabin was cosy, private, and nicely presented. Was a perfect weekend getaway with friendly staff around at the brewery if needed, otherwise you’re left to soak up the peace and atmosphere! Really enjoyed the log burner and very comfy bed. A relaxing couple of days.
26/11/2021Avril
All in all a really lovely stay, the cabin was very clean too. And the owners even went in before we arrived to turn on an electric heater in the bedroom to make it nice and cosy! We loved the fact the cabin was in its own little area behind trees, so we really felt like we were in a world of our own- exactly what we wanted! The only set back was that we (understandably) couldn’t get into the cabin until 4pm, and discovered that they had left no kindling for the fire like it had stated they would on the website, being the coldest weekend in November it was a bit of a pickle. So the first of the two evenings was spent in the bedroom instead of enjoying the living area of the cabin. Although it was mildly frustrating, we had such a wonderful time learning how to play Draughts, Backjack and Chess on the bed that actually it helped create some really lovely memories we’ll treasure. And the following day we got a bag of kindling for £1 from a supermarket so we got to enjoy the fire and the living area for the last evening of our stay.
21/11/2021Emma
Such a lovely getaway! Quiet and tucked away, the cabin is peaceful and fully equipped. It was lovely to arrive to heaters already on so the bedroom was cosy, and there was plenty of wood for us to get a fire going. The home-brewed ales left for us were a lovely touch and we enjoyed the little shop on site, tasting and buying some of the local ales and ciders. The cabin is relatively close to a few others, but is perfectly situated inside a garden with greenery all around so it feels remote and isolated.
19/11/2021Cayley
Fantastic peaceful cabin. Great location for exploring Tintern and the wye valley.
16/11/2021Rob
Having won on O2 Priority we were delighted to find the Hop Cabin available. The area is somewhere we had not been before. We arrived later than planned but we're happy to find a lovely warm cabin ready for us. We popped into nearby Chepstow for an Indian meal, then returned to the cosy cabin for a chilled out evening with no TVs, internet, just us time. The following morning we had breakfast sitting outside then walked to Tintern including the abbey. Popped off to Syminds Yat for lunch, but missed the 2pm end of service so returned to a recommended pub. A relaxing evening again. Comfortable bed. Just what we wanted.
12/11/2021Keith
A beautiful location

We had a lovely stay in the Hop Cabin. Set in a secluded area of the Kingstone Brewery grounds it was very peaceful and relaxing. The cabin was as the pictures showed, comfortable bed, good shower and a kitchen that had sufficient utensils and pans. We were able to cook in the cabin on the double hob (no oven). In the evening we used the woodburner creating a cosy atmosphere and the damp out. We bought beer from the brewery which tasted great. We spent the days out exploring the beautiful Wye Valley. Walking up the hills to the Devils Pulpit overlooking Tintern Abbey and other walks up hills and into wooded areas which had windows in the trees to afford views over the valley that were spectacular. Plenty of byways to be able to mountain bike but be prepared for some steep ascents and descents over some rocky ground in places. There were also some nice trail routes as well. We also used Wye Valley Experience to have a canoe down the Wye river from Monmouth which was a gentle trip which was very tranquil and mellow taking 3 hours to paddle down with very small white water in a couple of places. Overall a lovely stay in beautiful scenery and a comfortable cabin.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was such a well equipped and beautifully decorated cabin. Very peaceful and ideal place for anyone seeking a bit of tranquillity and a break from everyday life.

This was a perfect place for rest and relaxation. We loved it!
01/08/2021Zoe
We really enjoyed this quite tranquil spot.

We had a wonderful time at the Hop Cabin. The Cabin is super cosy with its own private garden. The Bathroom and kitchen facilities are good, everything you could need. There's a lovely veranda with a cosy outside sofa to watch the wildlife. Keep an eye out for the young male blackbird who is super friendly and likes to hang out with you! It's a very peaceful place to stay and unwind. There are also excellent walks from the cabin such as the wye valley walk and the offas dyke path. At Brockweir there's a village shop which is super handy for the extra bits and pieces you forget to bring. This is the second time we have stayed at the Kingston brewery, first time was in the holdings Cabin. This one is slightly bigger so might be better if you want to have so chill time inside or in the garden but both are excellent. Highly recommend staying here and I am sure we will be back.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay in Hop Cabin in the Wye Valley. The information sent through from Ed and Tori before we arrived was really helpful and full of good recommendations for what to do and where to eat. The cabin is very cosy and has a great private garden area with a bbq pit and high hedgerows that make it feel very secluded. The shower is lovely and hot and the bed and outdoor seats are really comfy. There was a power cut in the area when we arrived so there were no lights or running water but luckily this was sorted within a couple of hours (my one piece of feedback to Ed and Tori would be to let guests know if things like this happen as soon as possible if they can as we could have bought more torches etc. contactless check-in meant that they were not on site so if the power cut had lasted longer the first night's stay would have been less relaxing! The Wye valley and forest of Dean is a beautiful place to explore. you can rent canoes and mountain bikes (book in advance) from wye valley experience which are based onsite. I would definitely stay again. lovely place.

It was absolutely idyllic - couldn't ask for anything better. We thoroughly enjoyed all the bird activity and the cabin was even better equipped than we thought it would be. Everything was extremely comfy and clean and we loved using the wood burning fire one evening. The actual location was stunning as well and so easy to access lots of lovely walks and footpaths which was great - an absolute tonic after a terrible year.
27/06/2021Ellie
Sweet, colourful, snug cabin with owls hooting you to sleep and birds singing good morning.
25/06/2021Wendy
Wonderful time, perfect place for walking and connecting with nature.

It was absolutely heavenly. A cosy and homely stay, with free beer on arrival (which is great!!) and a wood burning stove for which the owners provide enough wood to last you 2 days. It was total peace and quiet on the site which was absolutely perfect for us and exactly what we needed. It was fantastically clean and there was lots of info regarding COVID 19 which was reassuring. Thank you for a genuinely wonderful weekend

The Hop Cabin was as charming as it looked online - very welcoming and comfortable, nestling within its own tree-lined private garden. It was so easy to set off for some wonderful walks from the door, over to Brockweir, to Tintern Abbey and exploring local walks along the Wye and Anghidi rivers.
13/10/2020Jayne
I liked the look of it and as I was staying on my own I wanted a place that was not too isolated. I was impressed by the level of cleanliness and helpfulness of the hosts. I loved the surroundings in the hop garden.
10/08/2020Sue
Our stay was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed every single moment in Hop Cabin. It was beautifully decorated and made us feel cosy and welcome. We were really happy that there was a fireplace inside and that the campfire was available. We also loved how clean the cabin was and that cleaning and sanitising products were provided, especially during the times of virus we found it extremely important and were glad that owners thought of it. The kitchen was very well equipped and allowed us to cook some nice meals where we didn't have to worry about the lack of cutleries or other kitchen utensils. We were so happy with our stay we'd love to visit again at some point.

Really relaxing and peaceful few days in beautiful surroundings. This is the kind of place that it doesn't matter what the weather is like as you will be cosy and warm in the lovely cabin. It's really well-equipped for a small space and really comfortable too.
09/03/2020Carey
Great stay, despite the weather. Very relaxing!
14/02/2020Gemma
A totally relaxing and perfect few days away in south Wales. Great for walkers and those content to wander through pretty villages.
23/01/2020Katie
It was an excellent place to stay over Christmas. It was really peaceful and a perfect for cost winter evenings. The welcome we received was wonderful, with excellent hospitality from Ed. The local area is beautiful too, with some excellent places to walk and good food available.
21/12/2019Rob
A perfect weekend! Even with the rain pouring down when we arrived the cabin was warm and cosy and when the fire was lit it was heavenly! Everything we needed was there and the beers which met us were quickly drunk whilst having a read through the literature in the bookcase! After a comfy nights sleep and a long walk in the area, it was great to know a hot shower and the brewery was open to end the day!
18/10/2019Jemma
We enjoyed our stay at the Hop Cabin. It was cosy, charming and well appointed. The bed and living area were very comfortable, and we really appreciated the wood burner. It was lovely having a garden exclusively for our use. We didn’t spend much time outside as the weather wasn’t great, but that was a good excuse to curl up by the fire! The owner, Ed, was helpful and friendly and let us sample a selection of his beers, which was lovely!
25/09/2019Cathy
We wanted one thing from our weekend away. We wanted to relax. And that we did. This is our second stay at the Hop Cabin and we are already planning our third for next year. This year was a little special as it was our last break away just the 2 of us. We wanted a place to relax, switch off, curl up with the woodburner and reconnect with nature. A place to just be before the craziness of our child arrives! The wildlife we saw was just magical. We saw deers squirrels, some small furry animal that we are still unsure on what it is and a chunky robin that came to greet us every morning. It was truly magical. We were very sad leave but ever so grateful to find this place and experience what it has to offer for the second time. Not only is the cabin gorgeous, but Tintern itself is such a magical, understated place. The Abbey at nightime is breathtaking. The cute little cottages along the road is picturesque. A hidden Welsh gem.
20/09/2019Charlotte
It was lovely and relaxing. We enjoyed the quiet and the natural beauty of the area
17/09/2019Jo
We had a great time, the cabin is in a lovely private spot in its own garden, within the grounds of the Kingstone brewery. It's a magical place, with other glamping places to stay, and a communal kitchen in a horse box and seating area under the trees. Some friends were staying in one of the bell tents and we had a great time with them, enjoying campfires and eating outside together. The cabin is very well equipped and is very cosy. We went on great walks in the local woods, and the kids loved the playground at the Old Station.
13/09/2019Emma
My stay at Hop Cabin was short lived as unfortunately I had to leave early due to a family emergency. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the time I was able to spend in the cabin. On arrival, I was greeted by one of the owners who showed me to the cabin and left me to settle in. The cabin is perfect size for a couple with all the amenities to make home cooked meals. I specifically enjoyed the log burner and homely touches throughout and was gutted to leave. The area is very peaceful and relaxing and the ales left upon arrival were a thoughtful touch which I very much appreciated!
02/09/2019Samantha
Loved our stay at the Hop Cabin. It was perfectly secluded, but with plenty to do in the area. Ideal for a quiet few days away and a much needed break. Thank you :)
26/06/2019Faaizah
We chose Hop cabin for its location, accessible yet remote enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Facilities were excellent and lots of activities around the area. Hosts were brilliant, will return.
14/06/2019Linda
We were here for a mini honeymoon and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The cabin is set on the most stunning surroundings and on the grounds of a brewery, my husband couldn’t have been happier. The cabin is cosy and has everything you need. The log burner made is feel super cosy and was a welcome addition when it got cold outside. The surrounding area is beautiful and we absolutely loved it. Will definitely be recommending to all our family and friends.
05/06/2019joanna
A beautiful quirky cabin, but quaint surroundings, a perfect romantic weekend away. We enjoyed a lovely pub walk and walk around the river wye taking in the gorgeous sites. Thankyou for everything x
27/04/2019Samantha
We had the most restful and relaxed weekend in Tintern at the Hop Cabin. The area was just lovely and secluded enough that we felt like the only people there. There was a wonderful range of things to do and see locally and in the Forest of Dean as a whole and we took full advantage. Definitely recommend Parva vineyard, Clearwell Caves and the royal George for food!
10/03/2019Matt
We stayed in the log cabin on the Kingstone Brewery site on the outskirts of Tintern and the whole experience was fantastic. The Staff at the Brewery were very friendly and were explaining that they are starting to hire bikes for the local paths and canoes for the River which will add even more fun to this brilliant location.
08/03/2019Will
Our stay at The Hop Cabin was wonderful. Although it was a winter time as soon as you get the fire going the cabin was really warm and cosy! The information given to you is great and the staff at the brewery were really friendly and helpful. We had a great time hiking and exploring the local area.
04/02/2019louise
Our stay at Hop Cabin was so lovely and relaxing. We had all the information we needed before we went, through very thoughtful emails with Emma. Two delicious complimentary ales were there to greet us, as was a bucket of wood and kindling. The space was clean and comfy and nestled right in nature. There was a large selection of great old books, a few games and a couple of large blankets. We got the fire going, read, cooked, walked and played games. Just perfect!
18/01/2019Charlie
We had a wonderful time at the Hop Cabin. It was very cosy and cute, and in a really great location for us. Thanks Ed and Tori!
27/12/2018Imogen
We stayed in the charming, cosy Hop Cabin and had a lovely time. A roaring fire and quiet surroundings are exactly what we needed to relax - and the delicious beer from Kingstone Brewery was a real treat too!
14/12/2018Katie
Very pleasant getaway - I was staying on my own and the place felt connected enough to feel safe, but still secluded enough to feel that I was really taking some time out away from it all. The people at the brewery were friendly and helpful, and the communication was great throughout. It was all self check-in/out, which made the process very simple, and the text messages on the day were reassuring that if there were any issues, someone was available to help.
10/12/2018Joanna
We had a lovely two nights in the Hop Cabin, our first little holiday with our 5mo baby. It was lovely to be cosy round the fire and plenty to do in local area.
20/11/2018Sophie
Hop cabin was the perfect retreat. Beautiful surroundings and everything you could need in a lovely cabin.
24/10/2018Jo
We had two lovely peaceful nights in the Hop Cabin even in the pouring rain it was nice a cosy and very private
12/10/2018Rachel
We booked this weekend away for our first anniversary. We wanted to get away from the day to day life and be surrounded by nature. This place did not disappoint. It was exactly what the doctor ordered. We were greeted with such a warm welcome and then left to our own devices to truly switch off. The cabin itself, oh what a delight. It was cosy, cute and felt like home. To then be told that this was the owners first home, added a little magic. All the touches were thought of. And the added bonus of 2 ales from the owners brewery was perfect to immediately destress. The only sounds to hear were the singing birds and the crackling fire. We truly relaxed and ever so thankful that this place allowed us to do that.
28/09/2018Charlotte
The Hop Cabin provided everything we'd hoped for with a comfortable bed and log burning stove in surroundings reminiscent of those of our childhood.Mark proved to be a most pleasant and helpful host and the private area surrounding the cabin with a squirrel, rabbit and various birds an ideal setting to relax.
24/09/2018George
Location was quiet and tranquil. Accommodation was good, very comfortable bed and great wood burner. Friendly staff and good artisan ales. The central location to explore Wales and Gloucestershire was excellent. Beautiful Abbey, enjoyed playing scrabble in the evenings. Having no wifi, TV or technology distractions was great - great place to "disconnect" from the modern world. You need to plan to take food with you as there are no shops close at hand.
13/08/2018Jo
It was wonderful. Perfect place - relaxing and private.
27/07/2018Chloe
Great stay, lovely location, really peaceful and everything you need is provided for a stress free stay
23/07/2018Duncan
Absolutely beautiful setting! The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and the cabin we stayed in was lush and cosy. We had a secluded garden all to ourselves with the luxury of our own BBQ and fire-pit. We had such a peaceful and rejuvenating stay at the Hop Cabin, surrounded by nature - just what we needed!
16/07/2018Hannah
This was a fantastc place. The cabin was very charming with a comfotable bed great wood burner and briliant private outside space. The beer from the brewery was also very good and Ed the owner was most welcoming We will be returning for another chilled out break.
04/06/2018Tony
We stayed here over the bank holiday weekend in May 2018 and it was absolutely perfect! As part of a larger group also staying in the two bell tents the hop cabin served as the perfect base for the whole group to congregate. It has its own large private garden with BBQ and campfire area which was excellent for our group of 8 to socialise in when at camp. Thank you for a wonderful couple of days, we will be coming back!
26/05/2018Charlotte
We had a really wonderful time at the hop cabin. The cabin felt as though it had had a lot of love and attention put into it, we had more than we needed really. Everything was thought of already which made our stay that little bit more relaxing. The attention to detail was really outstanding. Not to mention our host Ed was lovely, showed us around the brewery and gave us some samples. We were blessed with really lovely weather so a lot our time was spent outdoors in the very private garden the cabin was set in, and during the evenings the cabin was warm and dry and stocked with books and games. I really cannot fault our hosts or the cabin for anything at all. It was truly a delight.
16/05/2018Alice
Fantastic just what we needed. Exactly how you’d expect a secret cabin in the woods to be. Love it we will be returning..
13/04/2018Victoria
We loved our stay at the Hop Cabin, the huge wood burner kept us cosy in the evenings and we really enjoyed all being together as a family, reading, playing games and walking in the beautiful countryside. Our 2 children loved sleeping in the loft with the fairy lights and chilling on the extremely big sofa. Thank you!
09/04/2018Suzanne
Absolutely outstanding. Didn’t make the most of the quiet location. Very romantic setting.
07/03/2018Martyn
Such a beautiful cabin, we had an amazing time. Ed and Tori made sure we had enough wood for the coldest weekend of the year! And a lovely touch with a couple of Kingstone Brewery beers waiting for us on arrival. We’ll definitely be back (maybe when it’s a bit warmer though)
24/02/2018Mel
What an amazing find. Hop Cabin is exactly as we hoped. We were so warm in mid Feb with the massive wood burner and ample bedding and blankets. The cabin is secluded and the place has a lovely vibe to it. I'd thoroughly recommend staying here if you want to totally shut off from the rest of the world. Perfect for walking and A great pub within walking distance. Thanks for a great stay
17/02/2018Gina
It was wonderful - so peaceful I slept better those two nights in the cabin than I have for a long time. I was very sad to leave yesterday.
17/11/2017Joanne
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found that generally everything was to our satisfaction and as described on the website.
10/11/2017Georgie
My boyfriend and I throughly enjoyed our stay at the Hop cabin! We felt very at home, it was lovely and secluded but only a short journey from the town...perfect location! Will definitely be returning.
21/10/2017Faye
Had such a wonderful and peaceful time here! Lovely cabin with an onsite micro brewery, brilliant! Plenty of local activities and very nice people! Highly recommended!!
05/06/2017Lloyd
The cabin was as on the pictures, nice and cosy.
03/03/2017Camille
I booked the Hop Cabin as a surprise for my boyfriend's birthday and it couldn't have been more perfect! Log fire, cosy cabin, beers on arrival and a tour of the micro brewery - couldn't ask for more!
23/02/2017Rachel
A blissfully relaxing weekend at Kingstone Brewery's Hop Cabin. Cosy, private, quiet and secluded, yet we were there for one of their monthly wood-fired pizza nights up at the Brewery, so Saturday night we enjoyed the lively atmosphere, delicious food and Ales, then back to the peace of the cabin at the end of the night. Wonderful.
04/02/2017Gemma
Me and my boyfriend visited the Hop Cabin for the weekend as a surprise birthday treat!! It was just perfect.
20/01/2017Aoife
We're super excited to be adding Ed and Tori's latest space. A wonderful addition to the collection. The feedback for Goldings should give you a good feel for what it will be like. Book a stay and be the first to write a review!

Ed and Tori have put so much love into creating The Hop Garden. Our stay in Hop Cabin was so relaxing; watching the stars whilst enjoying the hot tub and cosying up by the fire with a glass of wine. The bed was incredibly comfy and the peace and quiet set us up for a very good nights sleep! The Hop Garden is just a short walk from Tintern where you will find some lovely local pubs (we recommend the Sunday roast at The Anchor Inn). This space truly feels like the hidden cabin at the bottom of the garden dream!

Fantastic peaceful cabin. Great location for exploring Tintern and the wye valley.

Sweet, colourful, snug cabin with owls hooting you to sleep and birds singing good morning.

I liked the look of it and as I was staying on my own I wanted a place that was not too isolated. I was impressed by the level of cleanliness and helpfulness of the hosts. I loved the surroundings in the hop garden.

Great stay, despite the weather. Very relaxing!

A totally relaxing and perfect few days away in south Wales. Great for walkers and those content to wander through pretty villages.

My boyfriend and I throughly enjoyed our stay at the Hop cabin! We felt very at home, it was lovely and secluded but only a short journey from the town...perfect location! Will definitely be returning.

Had such a wonderful and peaceful time here! Lovely cabin with an onsite micro brewery, brilliant! Plenty of local activities and very nice people! Highly recommended!!

The cabin was as on the pictures, nice and cosy.
