Dog-friendly treehouses with hot tubs

If dog-friendly holidays have previously meant compromise, prepare to have your preconceptions shattered. Several of our spectacular treehouses with hot tubs invite dogs to bound up into the branches and join their owners for sun-soaked naps on the deck and leisurely cuddles in front of the wood burner. From Devon to Denbighshire, we’ve got soaring sanctuaries where you can escape reality in leafy luxury with a bird’s eye view of the surrounding countryside. It’s humans only in the hot tub but if you take the dog for a stomp in the fields first, they can settle down for a snooze while you recline in the steaming water. Everyone’s a winner.

Why choose glamping with Canopy & Stars?

At our dog-friendly glamping spaces, dogs are welcomed with open arms. In fact, you might find complimentary dog beds, bowls and biscuits in some places and this attention to detail is what makes our collection stand out from the crowd. We can vouch for the quality of every treehouse, cabin and shepherd’s hut because we inspect them all individually. We stay overnight, test the hot tubs, cook over the campfire and go for a pint in the best local pubs. Since we were founded in 2010, over 200,000 guests and nearly 10,000 dogs have stayed with us in wild places off the beaten track.

About dog-friendly treehouses with hot tubs with Canopy & Stars

What’s it like to stay in a treehouse?

A deep feeling of peace descends when you’re floating a few feet off the ground. Maybe it’s the slight altitude, or the fresh perspective that comes from observing the natural world against a backdrop of swaying branches and gentle birdsong. The epic views are even more appealing when viewed from a warm hot tub in total privacy on the deck.

What does dog friendly mean to C&S?

Dog friendly doesn’t mean dogs are tolerated at Canopy & Stars, it means they’re catered for and, in some cases, positively pampered. Plenty of our owners are dog lovers so they know how to make a space work for people and pets. Your dog will think Christmas has come early when they discover woodland trails, vast empty beaches and all manner of exciting new smells to sniff.

How much does it cost to stay in a treehouse?

At Canopy & Stars we’ve got treehouses to suit all tastes and budgets. At one end of the scale, there are architectural marvels suspended from trees in the grounds of vast estates. At the other, you’ll find charming rustic retreats with quirky features, lost deep in the woods.  Depending on your preference, you can expect to spend anything from £130 to £300 per night.

Should dogs go in hot tubs?

In a word, no. The high water temperature can cause dogs to overheat and the chemicals in the water can irritate their skin, eyes and ears. Save the hot tub as a well-deserved glamping treat just for the human grown-ups.
