Slow adventures and wild swimming

We're heading back out on the road for a second series of Wild Weekends. We want you to experience what a weekend in nature looks like through the eyes of someone new.

For the final episode of the series, writer and photographer Athena Mellor visits a cabin in Yorkshire, where she enjoys slow adventures with her daughter, watches sunset from double outdoor baths, and digs out a paper map to hunt down a local wild swimming spot.

Where to stay

Glamping in Yorkshire

If there’s a better way to lose yourself in massive countryside than going glamping in Yorkshire, we’d love to hear about it. We’ve personally inspected every treehouse, barn and bus in our collection of unusual places to stay in Yorkshire.
