Wild Weekends

We're heading back out on the road for a second series of Wild Weekends. We want you to experience what a weekend in nature looks like through the eyes of someone new.

For the final episode of the series, writer and photographer Athena Mellor visits a cabin in Yorkshire, where she enjoys slow adventures with her daughter, watches sunset from double outdoor baths, and digs out a paper map to hunt down a local wild swimming spot.

Outside with Lira in Gloucestershire

First up, urban birdwatcher Lira Valencia takes a trip out of the city to a Earth Treehouse in Gloucestershire, where she goes wild swimming, birdwatches from the outdoor bath and meets a one-day-old cow with enviable eyelashes.

Gaz Oakley in Herefordshire

Just as spring started to show its head, chef, Gaz Oakley headed to Herefordshire for a weekend of wild garlic foraging and pizza making

Julius Roberts in Dorset

We'll be joining Julius as he visits Ash Farm, stays in a shepherd's hut and learns all about the resident red deer.
