Absolutely loved our stay in the Oolert Treehouse in the Welsh countryside! It was the perfect retreat, surrounded by stunning landscapes and complete tranquillity. The cabin was clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully decorated, making it feel like a true home away from home. Waking up to the beautiful scenery was simply incredible. Our host, Emma was very welcoming and provided great local tips, which really added to our experience of the beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend to anyone looking to unwind in nature!

An incredible place! Very unique, high spec and tranquil. The hosts had thought of everything, very welcoming and family friendly. We didnt want to leave!! Amazing views and just such a ln inviting space for a wknd/week away.
23/08/2024Esther
We loved our stay at the Oolert tree house. The overall standard of the accomodation is so high, you won't want to go out! Everything is finished to the highest standard (our kids loved the bluetooth mirror in the bathroom!), and the place was full of small personal touches. The treehouse has a stunning panoramic view of the valley from both the living room and the main bedroom (the latter of which can be revealed with remote control blinds in the morning!) And then there's the massive hot tub on the balcony (that shares the view). We had four of us in there comfortably (there's room for 6). Our host, Emma, was super friendly and was happy to show us things to do in the area that we hadn't found ourselves. Highly recommended.
12/08/2024Greg
Absolutely stunning location, we could stare at the views all day! The house is big enough that all of us had space (2 adults, 4 teenagers 15/17 yrs) but could all be together too, the underneath lounge area is wonderful. The hot tub is extra special due to the surrounding views and was enjoyed by all of us, especially the 4 teenagers. The whole house is decorated perfectly and has everything you need. Emma went out of her way to be helpful, give advise on best places to go yet didn't intrude at all. There are lots of walks (hilly!), easy walk to the local pub, that serves delicious food and towns/attractions short drives away. Highly recommend this lovely gem!
29/07/2024Sarah
Our second stay at Oolert was as impeccable as the first. A warm welcome and a luxurious and relaxing week surrounded by the beautiful Welsh countryside.
19/07/2024Robert
We had the best time! We went for our honeymoon with our nearly 2 year old and we had the most wholesome time. We can’t wait to go back! Emma is the perfect host, she is around if needed but leaves you to get on with your time. Emma had also put little personal touches in the lodge to help us celebrate our honeymoon (rose petals on the bed, heart ballon, Prosecco in the fridge etc). Oolert is the perfect combination of luxury and homely. I can’t recommend it enough.
15/07/2024Rebecca
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oolert treehouse. We had everything we needed and the hot tub was fantastic. We found a spot locally at a lavender farm for open water swimming which would have been great if the weather was warm. Also recommend break neck waterfall. Only minutes from the air bnb. The host Emma was attentive and really friendly.
12/07/2024Faye
It is the closest to nature experience I have ever had. It was a luxury amidst beauty and silence of nature. Emma has decorated her house very thoughtfully. Amazing place to relax and spend time away from the city hussle.
29/06/2024S
Great place to stay with amazing hosts and an amazing location. The view is superb. The cabin has everything you need and more if not Emma and Lyndon are always happy to help. Emma and Lyndon and all the farm animals who came to visit made our families stay extra special the kids had a great time and happy kids equal happy parents. So thank you again Emma and Lyndon for being such amazing hosts.
27/05/2024Martin
Our stay was nothing less than perfect. The house was in a stunning area, looking over a beautiful scene of fields and hills and to the back there are gorgeous trees. The house itself is perfect. It has everything you could possibly need and more.
24/05/2024Leanne
Amazing location, peacefull settings, great host and an amazing treehouse
19/04/2024Ozzie
Beautiful place to stay, the treehouse is so well equipped with a gorgeous view. Everything was perfect. Emma, the host, was lovely, as was her dog Bertie. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the basket of arts supplies encouraging us to have a restful and creative stay!

I celebrated my 29th birthday with 7 friends at Oolert. We came from London and it was the countryside escape of dreams. Beautiful stars, a treehouse nestled in hills full of livestock, backing into a serene wooded area complete with resident owl! Emma had thought of every detail, and not only was the place decorated beautifully it was incredibly functional and an easy stay with no issues. Emma was on hand 24/7 if we had any questions and couldn't have been more helpful - when we couldn't find skewers at the local shop, I gave her a quick text and within 10 mins she'd dropped some off for us (to toast some marshmallows). We were also lucky enough to meet and bottle feed Brandy the baby calve down at her farm! We would really recommend trying the hot tub on a clear night, with all of the indoor and outdoor lights turned off - because the stars absolutely took our breath away. Can't fault this place. Super quiet, comfy beds, very remote (the treehouses are far away enough from each other), loads of hang out spots around the treehouse and stunning views. Have already recommended to a few friends and colleagues! Chloe and friends.
10/11/2023Chloe
A beautiful location and a perfect place to relax, even when the weather is less than ideal. As well as the large hot tub there are lots of nooks to spread out into, indoors and outdoors, and lots of thoughtful touches (I couldn't decide if it had been decorated with pumpkins just for us for Halloween or Autumn in general) so you won't get bored even if trapped indoors. The owners are helpful and friendly without being intrusive. You can just listen to the woodland birds, watch the red kites circling over the valley or stumble across a 460 million year old fossil. Highly recommended.

Four nights in amazing scenery
23/10/2023Tom
We stayed for a week at Oolert with our two children and had such a wonderful time; cooking bbqs, enjoying the starry nights, going for walks, using the hot tub and enjoying the incredible view from the treehouse. Emma, the host, took care of our every need and we would highly recommend this place to stay
25/08/2023richard
We had a relaxing few days in the secluded woodland area. The host was on hand to greet us on arrival, answer any questions and advice us on places to eat. The host was very friendly and approachable and the accommodation was fab. Spotless, plenty of activities provided for the children and opportunities for the adults to relax. The outside area of the day beds and BBQ area were a real bonus too.
11/08/2023Karen
We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Oolert, the views of the Welsh hills were incredible - beautiful to wake up to every morning! You are on the edge of peaceful woodland which is great for exploring and den building. You feel so connected to nature and a real highlight for us was watching the Red kites flying above - the binoculars came in handy and we did lots of bird spotting from the balcony and in the woods. We cooked up a real feast in the evening and enjoyed it around the large dining table, followed by a long soak in the hot tub and a steamy hot outdoor shower. We didn't want to leave!

We're super excited to be adding Rhiw Wood Treehouse's latest space. A wonderful addition to the collection. The feedback for Cnocell y Coed should give you a good feel for what it will be like. Book a stay and be the first to write a review!

We stayed at Oolert over the Christmas period, and we had such an incredible time. The treehouse is spectacular - as are the views - and you could very easily live there. It has everything you could possibly need, as well as so many thoughtful extras from Emma who truly made our stay even better than we thought possible. Our 17 month old daughter got to feed the sheep and visit the cows (including newborn calves!), and explore the surrounding nature. It felt incredibly toddler friendly, and the canvases, books and toys were well appreciated during our stay! The hot tub, den, and remote controlled blinds were a wonderful added luxury, and the kitchen was fully equipped to make a full Christmas dinner! We were so sad to leave, but were very glad to have booked 4 nights rather than a shorter stay. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!

It is the closest to nature experience I have ever had. It was a luxury amidst beauty and silence of nature. Emma has decorated her house very thoughtfully. Amazing place to relax and spend time away from the city hussle.

Our stay was nothing less than perfect. The house was in a stunning area, looking over a beautiful scene of fields and hills and to the back there are gorgeous trees. The house itself is perfect. It has everything you could possibly need and more.

We stayed for a week at Oolert with our two children and had such a wonderful time; cooking bbqs, enjoying the starry nights, going for walks, using the hot tub and enjoying the incredible view from the treehouse. Emma, the host, took care of our every need and we would highly recommend this place to stay
