Overview
Perched on the edge of the rolling Shropshire Hills National Landscape on the border with Wales, accessed up a private mile long track through fields of sheep, you'll discover The Cloud-House waiting to help you disappear into the wild for a few days.
Set on a large wooden deck with outdoor seating space and a firebowl by the barn, the stage is ready to relax and spend time together. Your space has brightly coloured throws, and decorative fleeces – with a wood burner for warmth. To cook you have a kitchen in the small, converted barn and plenty of entertainment, including darts in the undercover seating area and a croquet lawn. If you wish to dine out then you can head to one of the nearest market towns, an easy drive away.
Days out will be exploring the Shropshire Hills for epic hikes, or gentle walks straight from the door. But it'd be all too easy to get lost in your own world at the Cloud-house, reading under the canopy by the barn, cooking on the firebowl or simply enjoying the outdoor shower hidden just around the back of the yurt with wide-stretching views up to the hills.

Our guests say...
Janet
Amazing place to stay, the yurt was just magical at night and so toasty with the log burner on. The ancillary accommodation including the kitchen and outdoor spaces far exceeded our expectations. Our host was great, sorted a very minor issue straight away and in truth couldn't do enough to make our stay special, with suggestions of walks, places to eat and drink and things to see nearby. We would unreservedly recommend to like minded people.

We had a wonderful stay at the yurt. This is our third time staying there and every time we discover another lovely feature of the facilities. The outdoor barbecue area, indoor kitchen, vintage croquet, outdoor shower, cosy and beautifully decorated yurt are just some of the features. Only downside was when we had to leave. But we will be back!

Our stay was blissful and gave us a beautiful space to unwind and relax. We spent our days outside watching the chickens and sheep and playing darts and our evenings by candlelight listening to the tawny and barn owls. It was lovely to sit undercover outside and enjoy dinner whilst taking in the stunning views.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay, Frankie was incredibly welcoming. The yurt is beautiful and the facitilities were perfect, especially the fire pit

We had an amazing stay. Our second time at the cloud house.
25/08/2021Leah
We had the most amazing stay at Kinton Cloud House. Not only is the yurt and surroundings amazing but the host as well. Beautiful location.
23/08/2021Grace
Lovely remote location with fantastic views. Frankie is a discrete, kind and friendly host. The yurt is fabulously decorated and the access to the living area with a very well-equipped kitchen is amazing. Despite a very dull weather, we had a fantastic time, the outside shower is also very unique and adds to the quirkiness of the while place. Totally recommend this place.

What an absolute gem of a place. A beautiful yurt that's well equipped, colourful and comfortable and all set in Frankie's wonderful small holding. Perfect for peace and quiet and to reset. We also had sole use of a barn that has cooking facilities and a seating area to indulge in all of the board and card games provided. We chilled in the hammocks, chatted around the firepit and went for long walks right from our doorstep. Heavenly! Frankie is a wonderful, welcoming host and we envied her wonderful home and setting. Highly recommend.

The cloud house is a truly magical place with everything you could need for a get away from it all break. We had such a lovely time and sleeping in the yurt was so much fun. The owner frankie is also lovely and was super helpful without being at all intrusive. I would highly recommend!

I have never done camping so finding glamping was my perfect compromise. Finding this unique yurt was absolute luck and fulfilment of my wildest fantasies. Little did i know. The host made our stay so special that my heart was melting from the kindness and generosity i have experienced. Absolutely gorgeous location, away from civilisation, beautiful sounds of animals and birds and insects surround you like an orchestra. Sitting by the fire, watching stars, observing sheep and chicken- this place is an endless meditation which brings you back to yourself and allows you to fully connect. Food and water tastes better here, thoughts are clearer and the sun shines brighter. Every single detail of the barn and yurt is thought through, so many unique precious details. The level of hygiene is superb (it was a big deal for me). Never wanted to leave, imagined myself growing old while seating on that wicker chair observing the world go by. Make sure you take a hot shower at night while watching the starts above the hills. Thank you Frankie for making this experience happen. Endless love and gratitude. Thank you team Canopy and Stars for helping with organisation. Madina

We had a great few days, the yurt was very special, as well as as the outside shower. The area is great for exploring and Frankie was so helpful, many thanks

Our stay at kinton was magical. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. The host Frankie was amazing and we had the most relaxing time being close to nature.
14/07/2021Liam
We had the most amazing weekend away in a yurt, it was something a bit different and we couldn’t have asked for more. The host was really friendly and helpful, the location was breathtaking and we enjoyed our holiday from start to finish.

We had a wonderful relaxing couple of days at the Cloud House yurt. Hosted by the delightful Frankie and Widget. The instant we arrived we fell in love with Kinton Escapes. Widget came and hung out with us on our second night, undoubtedly food driven, but we loved having the canine company. We sat in the sunshine, on the comfiest wicker chairs, looking out on the glorious Shropshire countryside.
23/06/2021Sarah
Beautiful yurt in a lovely rural location. Frankie is really helpful and has created a beautiful space to unwind. Loved the nice hot shower with a view of the hills and the beautiful lights and candle chandelier.

It was wonderful!!! A real gem of a place with a wonderful host in Frankie. Beautiful beautiful place xxx
18/06/2021Christine
We had a lovely stay. Frankie made us so welcome. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

I took my boyfriend for a birthday break at the cloud house yurt in kinton shropshire. He had never been glamping before. I have to say he was bowled over by how beautiful the place is. The quirky small details such as the chandelier and Alfresco shower and the size and facilities supplied made the stay super special. Set on the land of owner Frankie and nestled nicely in a little corner. The views are spectacular. We had full and sole use of the barn where we could BBQ outside, have a camp fire, cook inside, play various indoor and outdoor games. A perfect place to stay.
01/05/2021Lisa
Myself and my partner decided to spend my birthday weekend here at Kinton cloud house yurt and what a perfect little retreat it was. It had all the rustic feel to it that we look for. A perfect yurt with everything we needed. A very comfortable bed. It had a secluded outdoor shower at the back of the yurt which had wonderful views across the fields and over to the Shropshire hills. The shower was nice and hot with a good flow of water. It was an amazing experience. The barn kitchen/lounge had everything we needed and lots of little extras. There was a lovely outdoor bbq/eating area and an outdoor fire pit. Frankie the host put birthday banners up for me which was a very considerate touch. If there was anything we needed frankie would be pleased to help. Her dog widget was very friendly, always greeting us to say hello. All in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable relaxing weekend and we will certainly be coming back. Thanks frankie for everything xx

Me and my partner had an amazing 2 night break at the House Yurt. The land it is on is so special you can feel the energy as soon as you arrive, although we didn't explore the land we could hear its beauty at night. The reason we didn't explore was because the yurt was amazing, we stayed in it for the majority of our stay and the rest of our time spent in the converted barn to cook and the rest of our time in the shower and what a shower it is, the view whilst you bathe in the gas heated shower is breathtaking. The Yurt is so cosy and chilled, as soon as we unpacked we just curled up on the bed and looked out of the roof window. The yurt doesn't take long to get warm and if you put enough wood on it will get toasty hot in no time, the heat and comfort of the yurt will have you asleep for an incredible night of bliss. The host Frankie is and absolute gem, a true pleasure to meet. Frankie is really lovely person and a cool/interesting person to talk to.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay for my wife's birthday in the yurt. It was everything that we hoped it would be. The atmosphere in the yurt in the evening with the fire and candlelight was magical and we enjoyed being warm and snug while also feeling much closer to nature. Frankie at Kinton Escapes was a wonderful host. we liked the thoughtful touches like putting 'Happy Birthday' bunting out in the seating area for my wife.
28/09/2020Andrew
A place to reconnect with nature and my boyfriend who I didn’t see for 3 months during lock down. The beautiful yurt was so cosy with the Fire lit in the evening. The barn provided entertainment with Darts, croquet and even disco lights! We were so lucky with the weather and the stars were so bright! A prefer to getaway!
13/09/2020Lauran
Beautiful yurt that was even bigger and nicer than pictures. Log fire and hundreds of candles made it feel very cosy. Lovely warm outside shower. Very small and personal place - only three accommodations onsite, all unique in their own way (i.e. only 1 yurt) and spaced out so it feels very private. We didn't see another guest whilst there. Set in stunning grounds with views over the rolling countryside. The host Frankie went out of her way to ensure we had a good trip including greeting us when we arrived super late, hanging up "happy anniversary" bunting, and giving us fresh eggs from her hens. The site is conveniently located in the middle of a number of stunning national parks/areas of national beauty. We loved visiting the amazing Pistyll Rhaeadr (biggest waterfall in England & Wales) and Shropshire Hills AONB. Also near enough to do a day trip to Brecon Beacons or Snowdonia. Recommend bringing a battery charging pack for phones etc as no electricity in the yurt (you can also charge in communal kitchen/barn area). If renting a car and choosing between models, bear in mind the road to get to the site is bumpy with a lot of potholes.
28/08/2020Claire
The trip was very special and the location was perfect. It felt like a retreat and I love how remote it feels but the pub is walking distance and lovely towns near by. The yurt and barn are very comfy and welcoming. It is a great spot for all weathers as we had everything even a lightening storm on the first night and we could relax in the kitchen or under the canopy and then sleep in the yurt.
12/08/2020Sarah
Kinton cloud house yurt was amazing! Everything was super comfy, loads of thought has gone into making it special. Bed is comfortable, kitchen and outdoor amenities fantastic!
05/08/2020Leah
We visited Frankie's farm back in July as part of our post-lockdown reunion, and it was a small slice of heaven - it's hard to believe such a charming place exists. The yurt is even better than the photos - I think it'd be hard to capture just how magical it really is to lie under the stars at night with the wood burner roaring, all cosy under the sheepskins. We used the yurt and the accompanying stone barn as there were 4 of us, and all of us where really comfortable. We were amazed by all the space we actually had - the separate kitchen area is huge with a living room, out door firepit and plenty of outdoor space - we did yoga outside when the sun was shining. We can't recommend this place enough - Frankie was so lovely and welcoming, and her animals and space is amazing. We would love to come back! PS we loved the dart board and the hammocks
22/07/2020lynsey
This could not have come at a better time for my partner and I! From the moment we arrived right up until the second we left, we had absolutely no complaints. Everything was bloody perfect! My only concession would Be that we weren’t visited often enough by the fabulous farm dog; widget!
10/07/2020georgina
Our stay at Kinton Estates was everything we could have wanted! Frankie was incredibly helpful from the moment we booked, the Yurt was even nicer than what the picture show and the views from outdoor shower made it the perfect way to start the day. But it was the small things that we hadn't expected which made our trip so great--we loved having the company of Widget (Frankie's dog), the chickens roosting nearby gave us some lovely fresh eggs for breakfast and the hammock was the perfect place to sit and read a book. The barn also has a darts board, which was a big highlight. All in all, Kinton Estates has everything you need for a few days of luxurious countryside relaxation.
05/07/2020Kaitlin
Such a beautiful and refreshing experience. Becoming so close to nature and a wonderful breather from our busy work lives. It was great to have a break from the real world, learn to talk again and simply relax in front of wonderful views and pure tranquility.
03/09/2019Olivia
Absolutely incredible, the host was a pleasure to interact with and everything was perfect. Peace and quiet, plenty of space and lots to do. The outdoor was a beautiful experience. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our short visit. Frankie was a great host making us tea on arrival and settling us in quickly then giving us the privacy and space we wanted. The cloud house is beautiful as are all the facilities, the shower is an exceptional treat Great nearby walks all pointed out by a great host. We will be back Brett and Hayley
05/08/2019brett
Absolutely brilliant fresh of breath air all we needed were ourselves and food. Frankie provided everything else including our own kitchen chill out room in the barn with outdoor seating and barbeque. Bonus was the hobbits bench and outdoor fire. Would also recommend the outdoor hot shower . We will definitely be returning
30/07/2019Paul
We had an amazing stay at Frankie's yurt and left feeling relaxed and refreshed. The facilities are fantastic and the setting is peaceful and magical. We'd love to come again.
25/07/2019Rosa
a very enjoyable stay despite the gale force conditions on the Friday night. Frankie was a great host and ensured we were well looked after.
26/04/2019roger
We had a fantastic stay at Kinton Cloud-house, the host was amazing, very welcoming. We found what we were looking for, some peaceful and quiet moments. The children had fun too. The shower is definitely a great feature. We would like to go back.
14/04/2019Bruna
This was a two night break not far from home and our first experience of a Yurt. We encountered storm callum but the Yurt held fast keeping us warm , cosy and dry. The kitchen/dining area was well equipped and adequate for small meals , again full of charm.
13/10/2018Vicky
As my husband and I arrived at Frankie's beautiful location and saw the Kinton Cloud-House, the first thing we said was "wow!" The Cloud-House is just as stunning in real life as it is in the pictures on this website. The beautifully coloured fabrics on the walls and the bright cushions and hundreds of candles scattered around, made the Cloud-House feel homely and cosy. We had an amazing 4 night stay in the yurt and loved every minute of it, even showering in the safari shower with hot water but standing in the cold rain. It was a wonderful experience. We had use of the barn for cooking and electricity which was extremely handy. Frankie was the perfect host and made us feel extremely welcome. Frankie's dogs and chickens were lovely to have around and all friendly too. This was our first time staying in a yurt and we will certainly be staying here again.
03/10/2018Kathleen
Superb :) We loved the yurt (never seen one quite so beautiful inside) - Frankie had lit all the candles and stoked the fire for us when we arrived late on Friday night which was so welcome and it looked gorgeous. Loved the outdoor shower, the dartboard in the kitchen and the hammock. Just fab - thank you so much.
14/09/2018Joseph
I was looking for somewhere a bit different to celebrate my partner’s 60th and the Cloud-House fitted the bill.
22/08/2018Karen
Fabulous stay. Frankie was available whenever we needed her but apart from that you wouldn't know she was there. Very private setting and wonderful views. Lots of games . The outdoor shower was not what we expected, could have stayed in it all day. The yurt was soooo nice, a real treat and bed so comfortable
17/08/2018Susan
We had a fantastic visit to the Kinton Cloud House. Frankie was there to meet us and showed us around and was really friendly. The yurt was brilliant and so beautiful. We made friends with the chickens too which the boys loved. There are plenty of castles within a short drive away and we did a helicopter ride over the castles too which was only 15 minutes away.
01/08/2018Nickie
We had two nights staying at the yurt and had a really lovely time staying at Frankie’s. The weather was perfect and even in the recent hot weather, the yurt was cool inside. Everything from the welcome to the views from the outdoor shower couldn’t have been any better. We had a lovely, calm and quiet couple of nights and couldn’t have had a nicer time.

Well..... where can we start?! What an absolute magical place to stay. The yurt was just perfect, with its bright beautifully coloured walls, skylight to the night and the twinkling nightlights shimmering on the skylight at night. Bloody beautiful!!! We loved the quirky kitchen that enabled us to eat when the rain downplayed our plans for a bbq! Lighting a fire the following evening gave us further joys of just being outside and soaking up natures offerings. Frankie was an absolute perfect host and realy helpful and kind. Everyone at some point in their life needs to stay here and enjoy the outdoor shower overlooking the fields and sheep going about their business! Priceless. As a family we feel refreshed and cleansed by our short break and feel like we've been away for much longer. Thank you Rita, Steve and milly.

The perfect place to leave the busy, modern world behind. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. Very kind and welcoming host

My partner and I had a wonderful stay in the Yurt at Kinton Cloud-House! The yurt itself is beautiful and has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. On the inside there is a wood burning fire, plenty of candles, board games, a double bed and other seating areas. The long-drop loo is right next to the yurt and there is also an outdoor shower and sink overlooking the beautiful countryside! There is a kitchen facility a short walk from the yurt with everything you may need for cooking. There is also a fire-pit which is perfect for evenings. This place is perfect for anyone who wants a break from city life!

Wow, what an amazing place! Frankie the hostess could not have been more helpful and friendly. The cloud house (yurt) was magical. We loved, lighting the log burner and candles and getting cosy of an evening playing board games and having a few drinks. The outside shower was liberating and had the most breathtaking views. The facilities were perfect for us. A fire pit, BBQ, kitchen and outdoor seating area. Lots of fantastic walks in the area and country pubs to visit. The long drop loo was an experience! Such a quiet and peaceful place, surrounded by all of the farm animals and wildlife. We went to the nearby town of Montgomery and visited the castle which had lots of interesting signage which told you stories about the castle. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more and can't wait to go back!

The Cloud House was the perfect retreat from the city & kids and every little detail had been thought about. Frankie welcomed us warmly from the moment we arrived and made us feel completely at home. The yurt was cosy, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Bananagrams, Bagatele, candles, comfy rugs, a hot outdoor shower overlooking the rolling hills, the swishest long drop toilet, facilities (and disco lights!) in the barn, a hobbit bench.....we absolutely loved it and would really like to stay again.

We spent 2 nights staying in Frankie's Yurt in August. The whole experience was a very positive one. We loved the actual yurt - bright, cozy, comfy, so creatively designed, well equipped - a delight to stay in. The setting was beautiful - so peaceful. Made us feel closer to nature with the views, farm animals etc. The barn is so close and a great facility for cooking, chilling out in. Loved the outside area for having food/drink/bbqs etc. The shower has lots of character and added to the fun and experience (and it was warm, with amazing views over the fields). We enjoyed being there and felt it helped us to slow down and relax. There is even a hammock to lie in :) There are some wonderful walks nearby, plus good places to eat and visit. Would highly recommend this.

Amazing! A wonderful experience in a beautiful location. The facilities were beyond expectation with a stunning yurt, a well equipped kitchen and liberating showering experience! Our host Frankie was outstanding - she could not have made us feel more welcome.

I had a fantastic stay. The yurt was incredible. It was comfy, clean, cosy and beautiful. Frankie was an amazing host and very welcoming and helpful.

Amazing views and walks Fantastic friendly warm welcome which had us feeling at home in an instant
26/05/2017Brian
Wonderfully relaxing few days in the heart of Shropshire farmland. Perfect for people who like the luxury of a well appointed Yurt but still enjoy log fires and BBQs and outdoor living. Good walking for all abilities, fab outdoor shower and toilet facilities.

A weekend break following an intensive few days mountain biking Innorth wales, chilled out space in beautiful surroundings, fully re charge the batteries before heading back to 'normal life'
28/10/2016Ross
First up this was an amazing location. At the end of a winding farm track inhabited by directionless grouse, indecisive pheasant and baaing sheep - on the edge of the Shropshire Hills you find yourself at an amazing Yurt. The Yurt is colourfully and lovingly kitted out so you feel instantly at home. The log burner keeps you nice and warm in the late Autumn nights and the outdoor shower is a beautiful reminder of how refreshing nature can be. Frankie was a welcoming host with great advice on things to do. Her dogs are adorable - as are the cheeky chickens. We spent out honeymoon here and could not have found a better place to be :)
20/10/2016David
An amazing experience. Every thing you could ever need is catered for. The yurt is out of this world, the surrounding area is so beautiful. All of this was made even better thanks to the amazing welcome from Frankie who is one in a million.
10/08/2016Andrea
Our second wonderful 'break from it all'. Absolutely superb experience with an amazing host - Frankie. It is so peaceful and relaxing - a perfect place to chill out and spend time with amazing friends. We will book as soon as we can for next year :)

Brilliant and perfect in every way

We had such a good time in such a beautiful place and would recommend it to anyone!
04/07/2016Victoria
Wonderful from start to end. Frankie was the kindest most welcoming host even before we had arrived. She welcomed us with a drink before showing us around the most cosy accommodation of our holiday. Absolutely loved the yurt - the colour was wonderful. It had so many touches which made it feel so one of a kind. The outdoor shower was amazing too! I definitely want to go back, and stay for longer next time!
10/06/2016Rachel
Very beautiful scenery and very comfy and luxurious yurt. Would definitely visit again. There is so much to see and do around the place and Frankie the owner made us feel very welcome and was very good to us. She even gave us lots of useful information about the surrounding area.
27/05/2016Joel
We had a lovely weekend break at Kinton Cloud-House. Frankie, our host, was very friendly and invited us in as soon as we arrived for a drink and a chat. The weather was cold but the wood-burner kept us warm once we got it going! The outdoor shower was a new experience - great when the sun was shining but short and sweet when it was windy! There were walks from the doorstep and a nice pub at the end to reward us. We also took a drive to Welshpool which was nice for Sunday lunch and a walk. The countryside was beautiful and we felt truly away from city life - we would recommend Kinton Cloud-House to anyone who is looking for a get away with a twist!
29/04/2016Georgina
We arrived on a rather gloomy day but as soon as we walked in to our colourful yurt the outside world didn't seem to matter! Our host Frankie was so warm and welcoming, we could listen to her stories for hours. During our stay we were lucky to experience both snow and sunshine! The surroundings looked beautiful in both! It was a truly magical and romantic place to stay and we would recommend anyone and everyone to stay here. We would gladly return ourselves and maybe stay in the housebox next time so we've experienced both.
15/04/2016Andrea
Really enjoyed my stay here! It was absolutely fantastic everything about it. We were also welcomed very warmly, I would 100% recommend this to anyone.
20/10/2015Lois
We booked as a last minute short stay to unwind from the stress of working life. Couldn't have chosen a better option! The host was welcoming and made us tea on our arrival before showing us everything we needed to know. The location was secluded and peaceful, the yurt was cosy and we thoroughly enjoyed chopping our own logs for the log burner.
19/09/2015rachel
We had an amazing time! Frankie went above and beyond as a super host. The yurt was cosy and well prepared and the communal kitchen in the barn was well provisioned and very useful. My favorite feature was the very well thought through outside shower. The water was just the right temperature and the view stunning. My two children loved exploring the farm and making new friends. The zip wire was a big hit! But our overiding memory is the warm reception that we received.
11/08/2015Tom
The yurt was in a fantastic location - quiet, scenic and very peaceful. Frankie was a lovely host, very helpful. Sleeping in the yurt was a lot of fun, it's absolutely stunning inside. We spent most of our time in and around the barn, the kitchen was easy to use and we ate dinner round a fire both evenings. I can't emphasise how much this is a lovely rural romantic getaway! Back-to-basics style without lack of comfort. We particularly loved the outdoor shower too, the view was amazing.
06/08/2015Lizzy
A blissful haven of magical loveliness away from the rat race. It was our 8th anniversary and a surprise for my hubby. The yurt was beautiful cosy and comfortable.. All we needed was the clothes we came in as Frankie had thought of everything. Lovely area , lovely views. Just everything we could have wished for. Not enough time to explore the area, weather wasn't very kind...so we plan to return for a longer stay in the not too distant future.
25/07/2015Charlotte
It was a birthday weekend - myself & my partner stayed in the Yurt & friends stayed in the Housebox. Its beautifully quiet. It was extremely comfortable. The outside shower is brilliant, wonderful views of rolling hills. Frankie was just lovely, very helpful & there if we needed anything. The barn is totally fully equipped with allsorts of kitchen utensils - all you need is your food. A lovely quirky eating area outside the barn with bbq too. At night there are fairy lights dotted around...i would definitely recommend this place. We shall definitely go back!
17/07/2015Jackie
Amazing, views where breathtaking will definitely go back in a flash. Hostess was wonderful very helpful couldn't ask for more.
06/07/2015sarah
Absolutely faultless. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed like old friends. we were introduced to another couple that were staying nearby so that we could talk about what there was to do and recommendations for nearby attractions that were really helpful. The yurt itself was beautiful.. Frankie has thought of everything! I could find nothing that I would have changed or preferred.. the grounds are so picturesque. We spent the night stargazing by the fire pit on the quirky oversized bench eating cherrys from her cherry tree .. Welshpool is close by with a castle and there is a spectacular Lake about a half hours drive away which had coffee houses and a damn! The whole experience was amazing and I cant wait to go back! I couldnt have asked for a better birthday. Thank you Frankie
26/06/2015emma
Absolutely brilliant, Frankie was the best host and we even had the pleasure of meeting her lovely dogs! Everything about the yurt was idyllic, from the location, to the decor and also the evenings by candlelight. Was very relaxing for a long weekend and will be aiming to book again as soon as we can.
12/06/2015Katie
We had a fabulous time at Kinton Cloud House. Many thanks to Frankie for being the perfect hostess - nothing was too much trouble. Great kitchen facilities and we loved the outdoor shower.
25/05/2015Giulia
Fantastic. Welcoming, cozy, different.
10/04/2015Simon
I am completely new when it comes to glamping and don't camp either, so was a little worried about how I would find staying in the Yurt. I shouldn't have, it was absolute heaven. We could not have been more comfortable. I was able to cook a good dinner on the first night in the barn and on the second night we barbecued. Everything had clearly been given a lot of thought, the loo even had pretty fairy lights. All the little touches were there and more! and we were made so welcome. We were blessed with amazing weather, so I made full use of the outdoor shower. The views from there (and all around the Yurt) are incredible. It was lovely being so disconnected from the world, enjoying evenings by candlelight. For anyone wanting some quality time with their better half, this is the place for it. I really can't wait to get back there!

Wonderful location. Peaceful, serene. Animals, hens, sheep. Perfect chill out place. Outdoor shower.
24/06/2024Janet

20/09/2023Leah
Our stay was blissful and gave us a beautiful space to unwind and relax. We spent our days outside watching the chickens and sheep and playing darts and our evenings by candlelight listening to the tawny and barn owls. It was lovely to sit undercover outside and enjoy dinner whilst taking in the stunning views.

Madina

Our stay at kinton was magical. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. The host Frankie was amazing and we had the most relaxing time being close to nature.

Beautiful yurt in a lovely rural location. Frankie is really helpful and has created a beautiful space to unwind. Loved the nice hot shower with a view of the hills and the beautiful lights and candle chandelier.

We had a fantastic stay at Kinton Cloud-house, the host was amazing, very welcoming. We found what we were looking for, some peaceful and quiet moments. The children had fun too. The shower is definitely a great feature. We would like to go back.

02/07/2018Stephen
Well..... where can we start?! Priceless.

An amazing experience. Every thing you could ever need is catered for. The yurt is out of this world, the surrounding area is so beautiful. All of this was made even better thanks to the amazing welcome from Frankie who is one in a million.

Our second wonderful 'break from it all'. Absolutely superb experience with an amazing host - Frankie. It is so peaceful and relaxing - a perfect place to chill out and spend time with amazing friends. We will book as soon as we can for next year :)

Very beautiful scenery and very comfy and luxurious yurt. Would definitely visit again. There is so much to see and do around the place and Frankie the owner made us feel very welcome and was very good to us. She even gave us lots of useful information about the surrounding area.

Really enjoyed my stay here! It was absolutely fantastic everything about it. We were also welcomed very warmly, I would 100% recommend this to anyone.

We had a fabulous time at Kinton Cloud House. Many thanks to Frankie for being the perfect hostess - nothing was too much trouble. Great kitchen facilities and we loved the outdoor shower.
