Overview
Gather up to 18 friends and family to take over The Lakes on a huge conservation site! It’s a fabulous collection of spaces comprised of four charming shepherd’s huts and two spacious yurts. Create a little camp community where you all have your own rooms to relax but can come together at The Nest, the big safari tent at the heart of the space, where there’s cooking equipment, snuggle-worthy sofas and tables for dinners that go on late into the wee hours. There’s no one around for miles, so pay no mind when you huddle around the firepit to toast s’mores, plunge into the waters of the lake on your doorstep or sing songs around the campfire.
At some point, you’ll want a kip to recover from all the merriment. Thankfully there are comfy beds at every turn – big squashy doubles in all spaces including the four shepherd’s huts Teal, Pheasant and Mallard, plus two extra bunks for little ones in Barn Owl and two extra camp beds in the two yurts, Kingfisher and Skylark. Take time out to loll about in the meadow, splashing about in your lake with its paddleboards, wild swimming under the stars and keeping eyes peeled for kingfishers and deer.
There is a £750 refundable damage deposit to be paid directly to the Owners on arrival (not Canopy & Stars). The deposit can be paid by card payment or BACS transfer and the owners will provide you with more details.
