Overview
From its setting under the trees at one side of the Wild With Nature site, Kingfisher Yurt looks out across the eight-acre lake. This is your wilderness home for a few days of strolling, paddling and swimming, surrounded by the beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife. They’ve provided binoculars for spotting all the animals and paddleboards for enjoying the water, so you can connect with nature however you like.
The yurt is one of several spaces at Wild With Nature, but you have the option of keeping to yourself or meeting other guests. The yurt has its own loo and shower 50m away and a private firepit, but you’re also welcome to use the communal kitchen and pizza oven up at The Nest, where you’ll find the shared hot tub, when in use.
The yurt has a big double bed and two singles. It’s lit with fairy lights and lanterns and there’s no mains power, so you’ll soon find yourself happily disconnected from the beeps and pings of modern life. Then you can light the wood burner and lounge in the yurt, or sit outside and watch the stars come out over the still water.
