Overview
For once, here’s a bus that’s always in the right place, at the right time. Sitting within its own 100 acres or so of a working family farm, Double Deckerdence is the very best of the wild and the wonderful when it comes to glamping. On the top deck, the two buses combine, to create an amazing open-plan living area, with a kitchen, incredible dining area and two seating areas – one with a wood burner. On the second floor, you’ll also find an outdoor seating area for stargazing and a hot tub – both with phenomenal views.
On the lower decks, you’ll find the master suite, with king sized bed, and roll-top bathtub, mere feet away, and the bar area a little further down. In the other side of the bus, there’s the kids’ and dogs’ accommodation, with three single beds, a climbing wall, a tunnel, ball pit and circus ball game.
Are we done yet? No, there’s more. The bus station bathroom outdoors also has an outdoor shower, for those fresh morning starts, and the kitchen area, with a stove, pizza oven and large cool box, for those outdoor feasts by the firepit seating area, just beside it.
There’s a swimming & wellbeing centre nearby, the coast a short drive, farmshops, cafés and restaurants in close range – but with so much to do and explore onsite, it’d be a miracle if you wanted to leave.

Meet Lisa and Matthew
In 1923 George Beecroft Grant moved to Highfield Farm with his newly married wife Ivy. One hundred years later with the third and fourth generation of Grant's at the helm, (the fifth is actually the real boss) the farm is still going strong. Set in 1500 acres of the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the area is surrounded by tranquil rolling hills, woodland and lakes. Mainly growing grains and cereals for food and beverages, the Grant’s do have some cattle and sheep that wander freely and are super friendly.
Like most farms nowadays they have diversified their offering allowing them to continue to maintain the countryside that they’re custodians of. As part of this diversification, they created Wold of Your Own – luxury glamping experiences that offer guests the ability to switch off, reconnect with nature and have a piece of the Wolds all to yourselves.
Wildlife & Environment
There is an abundance of wildlife from foxes with cubs, deer both roe and muntjac, various birds, owls, badgers, swans. You will also be next to Redhill Nature Reserve.
The bus is totally off grid, and both the water and electricity are solar powered. The owners are actively involved in conservation on their farm with wildflower fields, bird seed and they regularly take part in supporting the community via the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society and the Lincolnshire Rural Support Network.

We had the absolute most fantastic stay at double deckerdance. It is the most fabulous unique off grid experience to stay in a bus. The facilities are so unique as there is a hot tub on the roof. The outdoor cooking options are fabulous. The ooni pizza oven and fire grill make for some great fun cooking. The projector, climbing walls, and ball pool are such magical touches. Watching the rabbits, squirrels and birds of pray around is just joyous. The whole place makes for such a fantastic adventure

Really lovely stay. The accommodation had everything we needed and plenty to keep our family of 6 occupied.
06/08/2024Suzi
Everything was really well taken care of. The directions to the meeting point couldn't be clearer. The communications from the hosts were first rate. It really feels like your stay is important. Everything was clearly explained to us so we were able to make the most of our stay. This is luxury glamping for sure. Cosy blankets, comfy beds, a hot tub, pizza oven, outdoor shower, outdoor kitchen area, perfect fire pit area, projector and screen. So much here to enjoy. Double-Deckerdence is incredibly well thought out, a true novelty and absolutely off grid. What makes this special is the care and attention the hosts have put into the experience. We definitely recommend adding hampers, the food quality is phenomenal. There is no hesitation in recommending this for a break away as a couple, or as a family.

We chose this stay for our bus obsessed three year old for a belated birthday getaway. We were blown away. As was the toddler! She spent hours in “her bus” driving, jumping in the ball pit and climbing the wall. The hot tub was a great addition, especially in the heat where we kept it cold and had it as a mini pool instead. It’s so well equipped and everything has been thought of! Once she was in bed there was plenty of space for us to enjoy the evening without waking her, cooking outside and making the most of the firepit. An extra special touch with the birthday banner. A co op is 15 mins away for any emergency supplies.

I went with my 2 boys who are ages 3and 4. What an adventure we had. The accommodation is out of this world… you’re in the middle of nowhere, no one around, it’s so peaceful. My boys loved the climbing wall, driving the bus, the hot tub, making fires and the ball pit. Everything was perfect and Mat and Lisa were amazing hosts!! It was fantastic value considering the quality of the accommodation and the extras included.
13/05/2024Colette
A well thought out and idyllic setting for a stay. Could not fault it at all. My Wife and I took 4 kids and a dog and still had plenty of room. Didn't see another human the whole weekend.
10/05/2024Ben
Our whole family loved every part of this trip! The bus was beautiful, the owners had thought of every small detail and was perfect for us! We did get fabulous weather aswell which helped us enjoy all the outside bits too, lots of walks and fires! Toasting marshmallows and making our own pizzas… we all loved it!
08/05/2024Kate
An amazing experience. The buses were so much fun with amazing facilities, and in a beautiful location.
12/04/2024Paul
Lovely stay, hosts are so lovely, both Mat and Lisa. Nothing was a problem when we had a few questions about things. Fab place! Everyone we’ve spoken to is now wanting to go and stay! Lovely touch putting up the birthday banner for our son Henry, he loved them! Thanks for having us

Double-Deckerdence is a little slice of relaxation heaven in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside with a hint of quirkiness thrown in for good measure. From the huge but cosy super-king size bed, with bath, on the lower deck to the spacious living area and kitchen on the upper deck you are surrounded by peace and tranquillity. The icing on the cake is certainly the heated open air plunge pool that offers amazing views of the surrounding natural beauty. The connection to nature is complemented by the abundant local wildlife such as pheasants, rabbits, birds of prey and deer. Overall an incredible experience and one that I cannot recommend enough.
