Overview
Bluebell, Daisy, Clover, Foxglove, Sky and Buttercup are six of the lotus belle tents that make up Georgie’s creation. This group camp is settled in a beautiful ancient wildflower meadow with great views and is in an area of outstanding natural beauty, totally secluded and surrounded by woods and fields planted with wildflowers.
The Lotus Belle tents are creatively decorated with, bright cushions and furnishings, fairy lights, lanterns and comfy futon beds. There are private washing facilities and a small kitchenette both a short two minute walk down the little wooded pathway, as well as a covered dining area with solar lighting and Moroccan candle lanterns to create a beautiful setting for a vintage tea. Cook up a feast on the outdoor BBQ or in the hobbit hut on the indoor BBQ, or perhaps a paella on the firepit. Alternatively, experience foraging and feasting in our beautiful woodland and meadows, with over 200 acres of private farmland to explore. Then get the party started brewing up some cocktails on the comfy outdoor seating area, take turns soaking in the wood fired hot tub and gaze at the stars.
The large woodland area next to the meadow with streams, dappled glades and wildlife to spot is perfect for groups and families to explore. There are even some surprises en route for you to discover... great for the kids! Visit the many historic sites, wildlife parks, and beautiful gardens in the area. To make your stay even more fun book an activity (see activities tab) and enjoy the games on offer in the meadow. Within a 10 minute drive you will find The Daylesford Farmshop, The Hawkstone Brewery (Jeremy Clarkson) The Cotswold Farm Park (Adam Henson from Countryfile) and Joseph’s Amazing Camels (Sunday Morning Alan Titmarsh).
More guests can also book the shepherd huts (sleeping up to 5 in total) a few minutes walk away across a field past the loos and kitchen area and into the woodland. You could also book Heath Barn, a self-catering property that sleeps up to another 5 people with indoor space for rainy days.
Hot tub: DIY wood fired hot tub available. Two sittings of three hours each are included in your booking. Logs, water, cleaning and preparing of hot tub each day are included in your booking. Any extra sittings are charged at £125 per use.

Meet your hosts
Georgie & Francis have lived at Heath Barn for over 20 years. In the creation of their shepherd's hut camps and wildflower meadow, they have combined their love of the local area and its outstanding natural beauty with the experience from many years of travelling. They invite guests to get outdoors and experience their wonderful home.
The two shepherd's huts and Munday's Meadow are on either side of the estate, and cannot be seen from each other. Posey and Lima share a bluebell wood and are not visible from one another, each with their own private space in the wood. Munday's Meadow is in the wildflower meadow, across two fields and a bridge. If you want to book the whole site, they're only around a 5 min walk apart.

Our guests say...
Gabby
We had a truly splendid stay. The bell tents were beautifully equipped, and the facilities were better than expected. We loved all the garden games that were available to us and so much thought, and Care had been put into how to have a great time whilst on the site. Georgie was a pleasure to work with, and we found the whole experience to be hugely enjoyable. All of the communication was easy and nothing was too much trouble. On the same day that we left, we were already talking about going back. Thank you for hosting us.
24/05/2024Claire
Amazing venue perfect for a hen do! Recommended activities were also brilliant.
28/07/2023Lucy
It was awesome, really pretty, pictures don't do it justice. In a lovely location, the tents were set up really well, plenty of places to eat and sit, having JP as a helper was a god send as it took loads of pressure off with setting up the hot tub and cleaning up. The food from Susie was so amazing! She definitely gave us far more than we needed and was also so lovely. Georgina came to see us a couple of times too and also gave me a bottle of fizz for my bday which was a lovely touch. We played rounders in the field, had a silent disco on the saturday night (brought this with us) and also did a projected movie night on the Sunday (brought this ourselves and also had to bring a separate battery as site is solar only). Couldn't recommend staying here more.
19/08/2022Charlotte
Was the best location to host my hen do. A beautiful meadow surrounded by wild flowers, so many acres to explore & forage. Everything was provided for us in both the kitchen & the tents. Loved the small touches like the hot water bottles in each tent, the lawn games, the little tea lights, torches & fairy lights everywhere. Everything was clean & a weekend just wasn’t long enough.
10/06/2022Danielle
We stayed at Munday's Meadow for our friends Hen do, our stay was perfect - the space is gorgeous and feels very private. Loved the addition of the games sets (rounders/croquet etc). The tents are well kitted out and beds comfy! we all had the best weekend!

We had a fantastic stay at the Meadow. It is a beautiful setting in a great location. We went as a group of 3 families. Perfect for the kids - safe, just us there. The bluebell woods we’re in full bloom and were stunning. The belle tents were lovely and the hot tub and hut were fab. A great stay.
29/04/2022Amy
Had a wonderful stay celebrating a 40th Birthday with family and friends. Georgie was on hand to answer any questions and the camp oozes quality. Very thoughtfully constructed and decorated. We had a great time.

We had a great time for a friend’s hen do. We managed to choose the wettest weekend of the summer but we were warm and dry in our yurts and the hobbit hut gave us a great place to relax in a group.

I booked Munday’s Meadow to celebrate my sisters hen do. It was fantastic and everyone had a brilliant time. Everything had been thought of and it was so well stocked. The dining tent was beautiful and the hot tub was great.

We were a group of 6 families with kids ranging in age from 6 months - 6 yrs and we had a lovely stay at Mundays Meadows. It rained and the sun shone, but the site is well set up to make even the bad weather ok. The hobit hut and sheltered eating area meant that we could carry on eating and playing games until the rain passed. The shower block is clean and tidy and everything you could possibly need was there. The hottub was a hit too! The fridge and running water, and loo's are quite a long walk from the main campsite but - although not ideal - it was manageable. Perhaps those without little kids would find this much easier.

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay we booked it to celebrate four of our thirty birthdays. The campsite was extremely tidy and the beds were pre made up for us. The owner was accommodating and always quick to answer the phone or come to the site to help with any queries. we were over the moon with the food from the catering company provided by susie Harris the food was incredible and plenty of it and she was so lovely and was a great addition to our weekend experience.

We stayed at Munday's Meadows for a team away day. The site was beautiful - very peaceful and secluded - and had everything we needed. The tents were really comfortable and we were grateful for the blankets and hot water bottles! We loved the kitchenette/dining area - it was the perfect place to socialise and cook together. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Perfect weather, in the most idyllic setting, very peaceful. We were a group of 30 mix of adults and teens/young adults celebrating a 50th birthday. We had singalongs around the fire pit, walks in the woods, found a wild swimming hole 30 mins away, Birthday bbq (had a bigger gas bbq delivered); and tesco’s delivery to the site; also, take out Pizza/Indian from Moreton and even managed to watch the World Cup final in a local pub. The beds were comfy with extra bedding provided, lots of cutlery and crockery, coolboxes etc to make this an easy weekend to organize. One of the most fun weekends ever; looking for a reason to organize another event soon!!

A group of 24 friends (including 4 in the shepherd huts Lima and Posey) stayed for a birthday celebration weekend in mid May and we all had the most amazing and memorable time. Our particular highlight was the hobbit hut which was larger than it looked and the stunning bluebell wood where the huts are located a short walk from the meadow. The site had everything we could need for the weekend and it was perfect to have a meadow to ourselves in the beautiful Cotswolds. Georgie was a great host and answered any questions that we had. Thanks for having us!!

We booked a large group at Munday's Meadows as a surprise 40th birthday party for my husband. The site was lovely, the yurts were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen was well kitted out and had enough for a party of 20....great long table too! We loved the fire pit hut and made good use of it on a chilly evening. We also used the out door fire pit which was great for doing marshmallows with the kids. Thinking of the kids - there was plenty of space for them to run and play. The hot tub was a nice feature ( although slow to heat up) and the place looked like a fairy tale land when all the lanterns were lit up. We had a wonderful time.

I stayed in munday meadows with a group of 13 to celebrate my 21st birthday and it was an absolute blast! I've always wanted to go glamping and this was a perfect opportunity. We had a mixed group of boys and girls so the camp site was perfect to play football and frisbee. We even ordered pizza to the site from a local takeaway which was great! The weather wasn't too great however the hobbit hut and the dining marque are he perfect shelters. The campsite itself looks amazing! There were a few screams of excitement as we walked in because the pictures do not to the site space justice ! You have so much room. The area surrounding was lovely to take walks and see some beautiful country sites. We loved drinking inside the hotub although it was freezing outside. Georgina was a lovely host and was super friendly and helpful. She was always close by if we needed anything but we also had our complete privacy in the campsite. We had 3 complimentary bags of wood for the fire and hot tub which we thought wouldn't be enough but they lasted the 2 days. I would highly reccomend the meadows to camp for any group of people old or young- it was a fantastic weekend and I'd love to go again.

We visited Munday's Meadow to celebrate a family 30th birthday, and despite the wind and rain we still had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The location of the site is ideal and close to a range of towns for day trips out, though many of us decided to stay on site and embrace the wild by going for walks and playing games in the meadow (even in the rain!) The use of the hot tub and hobbit hut were great assets to our stay and without the hobbit hut we wouldn't have been able to cook, due to the wind blowing out the gas rings!! We had a great time and would love to do the glamping experience all over again! :)

We had such a wonderful stay! The tents were made beautifully and even had hot water bottles left out for us. The kitchen essentials were all there and loved that tea and coffee was provided. We were a party of 15 and because we were out in the middle of a meadow making noise wasn't a problem.

We had a fabulous time despite the rain! Great facilities, lots to do fishing, bike riding, rounders, frisbee, hot tub. Amazing afternoon tea for fathers day and my 40th birthday! Great place for big groups of friends or family! Ideally situated to explore the Cotswolds! Lovely bell tents in a gorgeous wildflower meadow! Hobbit hut is fab of an evening to toast marshmallows and all snuggle up, everything you need for a great weekend away! Kids absolutely loved exploring the forest and pond dipping!

We had a fantastic stay despite the terrible weather outlook for the weekend! (snow and rain) The facilities were excellent and kept to a high standard and very clean too. Georgie was a great host which made the stay even better for us as she was very accommodating to our plans and the bad weather we had. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a fabulous time at Munday's Meadow. It was simply glorious for us to be free and at peace in the meadow. Everything has been beautifully done and well thought through so we were able to make ourselves at home quickly. The hot tub and hobbit hut were great fun and the space allowed for us to enjoy the weekend to the max. Georgie was really helpful in showing us around at the beginning and making sure we had everything we needed, and then she let us get on with it! We all loved it, highly recommend a stay here and hope to have an excuse to come back again!

12 of us stayed for a relaxed, layed back hen weekend. It was perfect for this with lots of peace and quiet but only a short drive from Moreton in Marsh for some lovely pubs.

We had a great hen weekend, loved the tents and particularly cosying up in the hobbit hut toasting marsh mallows over the fire. Lovely comfy beds and cosy duvets.

Girls weekend in three lovely yurts in the countryside. When it was chilly in the evening we went into the Hobbit Hut to warm up (although fortunately during the day it was sunny). The nearby bluebell woods were beautiful and well worth a wander.

"We had a fantastic stay at Mundays Meadow to celebrate my 30th Birthday. Georgie made every effort to ensure we were comfortable with thick duvets and blankets galore. It even satisfied people in our party who hate camping! The glamping experience was brilliant with everything provided from plates and towels to tea and coffee. The meadow itself was amazing and full of wildlife, so peaceful at night...apart form the owls! The hobbit hut was a huge hit and a lot of campfire singing commenced here. Just perfect!"

"It exceeded our expectations, it was so beautiful and secluded. We loved our horse neighbours and the site was really well equipped. It really is glamping! We were not interrupted the whole weekend and made the most of being noisy out in the open spaces!"

"Having a private field for just our party meant that we felt the kids were safe and meant you could really relax. The tents were lovely and cosy."

"We had a great time!!! Kids safely running around, BBQ's at night, watching the stars, waking up in a beautiful tent listening to the tent whilst being so warm. Exploring the woods, kids running around whilst I could read by the tent, meeting other families, lovely hot showers whilst I can hear the horses outside, we stayed another night and want to do it all again!!!!"

"Absolutely loved it. We hired two of the bell tents with friends of ours as a birthday treat for our 7-year-old daughter. The location is fantastic, the meadow itself is beautiful - especially the wild flowers - and being so close to a big supermarket to stock up on food and of course all the attractions of the Cotswolds makes everything so easy. And the tents and facilities themselves really do put the 'glam' into glamping. I loved the flush loos and power showers (wish i could have taken one home to our bathroom!), having a fridge-freezer and outlet to charge my mobile phone. The tents were decorated beautifully (I love the artificial grass inside!) and the beds were SO comfortable. I loved the white linens and Kizzy bedspread in ours (yes I like it so much I looked it up!). Georgie really does know how to add those touches that make things that much more special. Also, being able to go away with friends was lovely. And having wonderful weather helped a lot too! I would love to go back, and hope to in future. I have already recommended it to lots of friends."

We had a great time for a friend’s hen do. We managed to choose the wettest weekend of the summer but we were warm and dry in our yurts and the hobbit hut gave us a great place to relax in a group.
