Glamping in Sweden

Glamping in Sweden is an otherworldly, unforgettable experience. Step into a Nordic fairy tale to explore towering pine forests and vast lakes while the Northern Lights dance overhead. Our glamping spaces in Sweden have to be seen to be believed. A series of architectural marvels hidden among the trees with designs that draw inspiration from UFOs, bird’s nests, Lego and the night sky above. Surrounding them you’ll find a natural wonderland with outdoor adventures for all seasons.

Why choose glamping in Sweden?

We take our research very seriously and visit every space in our collection, even those in the far flung reaches of Scandinavia. We’ve gazed open-mouthed at the lush expanses of Lapland from our Swedish glamping places and gone husky sledding before hopping in the sauna to warm up. If a space meets our high standards for comfort and style with a dash of magic, we’re pretty sure you’re going to love it too.

The cabin reading list

There is no place better than a cabin to finally lose yourself in that book you’ve had by the bed for months. We asked around the office to see what the team have been saving for a special occasion.

About glamping in Sweden

What should I do on a glamping holiday in Sweden?

Your imagination is the only limit. Once you’ve torn yourself away from your cosy Scandi treehouse, it’s time to embark on snowmobile safaris, ice fishing, husky tours and snowshoeing. If you still got some energy left, you could meet a moose or hang out with a Sami reindeer herder. When night falls, there’s only one activity with a starring role – spotting the Northern Lights from your glamping space, or even from a tipi tent on a frozen river, as you feast on a traditional three course meal.

What’s our expertise?

We’re a small-but-perfectly-formed Bristol travel company founded in 2010 with a passion for nature and creativity. We’ve spent since then honing our expertise in unique outdoor holidays and finding you the most incredible experiences in nature.  We’ve held true to our original values and we’re now one of the highest-scoring B-corps in travel with a charitable trust that donates to environmental causes.

What is the best time to visit Sweden?

While a winter wonderland in Sweden is as magical as you might expect (in fact it will probably exceed your wildest expectations), summer and spring offer a whole host of equally exciting outdoor activities from kayaking, horse riding and hiking, to foraging, fish and midnight sun paddling. In autumn the colours are spectacular and don’t get us started on the winter snow – Narnia’s got nothing on Swedish Lapland.

How do I find the right place for me?

Whether you want luxury, simplicity, an abundance of activities or peaceful tranquillity, we’ve got the place for you. All of our place pages have detailed information about what’s on offer and you can read recent reviews from other guests who have stayed there. If you need extra help to decide, contact our Guest Experience Team who can share their in-depth knowledge of all the special places in our collection.
