Glamping in Spain

Hot sun, a symphony of cicadas and the Mediterranean sea glistening in the distance. Glamping is the best way to experience the beauty and diversity of Spain whether you choose a getaway on the mainland or visit the Canary Islands off the coast of Africa. Stay in one of our spaces, reconnect with nature and experience the sort of peace and quiet that makes shoulders drop, smiles broaden and kids run wild. Take comfort and luxury, mix it with outdoor adventures and epic scenery, and you’ve got a holiday with the best of everything.

Why choose glamping in Spain?

Our glamping spaces in Spain are utterly unique – we’ve got a Spanish cave house perched in the Andalucian hills, a cabin on stilts by the beach, a converted Airstream trailer surrounded by almond groves and a few luxurious eco yurts. We personally inspect every place to make sure they offer incredible experiences in nature. You’ll return home feeling like you’ve done more than just visited Spain, you’ve fully immersed yourself in the landscape.

About glamping in Spain

What should I do on a glamping holiday in Spain?

You can be as active or as deliciously idle as you like on a glamping break to Spain. For those who relish a challenge, go hiking or mountain biking in the beautiful Pyrenees or try watersports and surfing in Lanzarote. Beach lovers can pack a towel, a good book and relax on the warm sand for hours, while wine buffs will be spoilt for choice with vineyard tours and tastings. Beyond that, there’s stargazing, campfires, leisurely picnics and blissful peace and quiet.

What’s our expertise?

Canopy & Stars is a small independent travel company based in Bristol. Since 2010 we’ve been exploring coast and countryside to find incredible places to stay throughout the UK and Europe. When you book with us, you can choose from Cornish cabins, Yorkshire shepherd’s huts, Scandi treehouses, Spanish yurts and so much more. We’ve visited every place, so if you’re struggling to decide, give our friendly Guest Experience Team a call and they’ll talk you through all the options.

What is the best time to visit Spain?

Spain’s mild and sunny climate means there’s no bad time to visit. Temperatures can soar in the peak of summer, so if you melt in the heat, try going slightly out of season or seek out a sea breeze. Some of the places in our Spanish collection are only open between April and September, so check the calendar on each place page as you’re doing your research.

How do I find the right place for me?

Whether you want to hide in the hills or sleep so close to the beach you can hear the waves, we’ve got the place to suit you. On our place pages we don’t just tell you about the accommodation, we use the expertise of our brilliant owners to share tips about great places to eat nearby, hidden bays, scenic walks and all the amazing outdoor and cultural adventures locally. If there’s a great bar nearby, you’ll probably know about it before you even arrive.
