Dog-friendly glamping in Northumberland

What do dogs love? Wide open spaces where they can run themselves into a frenzy. The deserted beaches and wild woodland walkways of Northumberland deliver the fresh air and freedom that dogs dream of. Stay in one of our dog-friendly glamping places that cater equally well for hounds and their humans. Your dog might not fully appreciate the many added luxuries (unless it’s a dog bed) but you certainly will.

About dog-friendly glamping in Northumberland

Who we are

We’re a small independent travel company on a mission to help as many people as possible find a life more wild. We want to help you press pause on the daily grind and transport you to staggeringly beautiful places in nature where you can slow down, breathe deeply and reconnect with what really matters. Oh and we love dogs, so it’s no surprise that over a third of our glamping spaces are pet-friendly.

Our dog-friendly glamping breaks in Northumberland

How about a shepherd’s hut with a stargazing roof? A super king-sized bed in an old ticket office? Or perhaps a pioneer’s cabin with a hot tub? Decision making has never been so much fun especially when your faithful friend is invited along for the adventure. With places like this (and often surprisingly spacious) it’ll take that wet inquisitive nose quite a while to happily explore every nook and cranny.

We care about responsible travel

At Canopy & Stars, we want to improve the relationship between travel and the environment. We’re always looking for new ways to reduce our impact, and that includes a commitment to achieving net zero carbon by 2030. We’re aiming to raise £50,000 to protect our national parks, and we’re limiting the number of places we offer in over-touristed areas. Find out more in our latest impact report.

Splash about in the waves, race along sandy beaches and tire yourselves out on long walks in Northumberland National Park before heading to a dog-friendly pub to relax and refuel by a roaring fire. If you’ve still got energy to burn, scamper along Hadrian’s Wall and explore ancient castles and Roman forts before heading back to your cosy glamping pad to stargaze under vast dark skies.
