Who we are
We don’t do bland and boring at Canopy & Stars. You won’t find soulless hotel rooms or cookie cutter designs in our collection. Instead, we find unique places to stay in the heart of nature that have been designed with love by passionate owners. We’re a B-Corp on a mission to make travel a force for good and we take this role as seriously as finding quirky, unusual glamping places. You can find out more in our impact report.
Why are cabins so special?
Our collection of cabins near London includes lakeside retreats, cosy Igluhuts, a huge converted train carriage and an earth covered cave. Each one is cosy and peaceful with all the facilities you need to relax completely but, more than all that, they’re in some of the most wildly beautiful spots in the UK. Kick back on the deck and drink in the soul-nourishing views of wildflower meadows, sweeping forests and rolling hills.
Cabin holidays near London with us
We eat, sleep and breathe glamping holidays. We’ve got nearly 50 cabins within two hours of London and we’ve inspected and slept over, in each one. Not only do we make sure they live up to our (extremely) high standards, we get to know the owners and the local area so we can recommend the best activities and places to visit while you’re there. We’ve been known to check out the nearby pubs too but that’s strictly for your benefit.
What can I do in these spaces?
Cabin life is slow — it’s the antidote to rushed urban living. To reap the benefits, stick your phone in a drawer and tune into the rhythm of nature. Sip coffee on the deck in misty mornings, take ruddy-cheeked afternoon strolls along forest trails and spend drowsy evenings cooking over the campfire, stargazing and soaking in the hot tub. There’s a reason they call it quality time.
