Who we are

Canopy & Stars are leading the way in unique, outdoor holidays. We’re a small, independent travel company based in Bristol, with a very discerning eye. We promote responsible, sustainable travel and only accept 20% of applications we receive from new places. So, you know the ones that make it into our collection have something special. Why are cabins so special?

Cabins are one part adventure and one part relaxation, all set against a backdrop of breathtaking natural scenery. A typical day might begin with a soak in the hot tub in the crisp morning air, followed by coffee on the deck gazing out at rolling hills. Then a long hike through woodland trails, before returning to flop back into that tub and hope that your other half cracks open the fizz. Need we say more?

We work closely with our brilliant owners to make sure that our places are comfortable, quirky and set in the most idyllic, remote locations. We want as many people as possible to experience the joyful, life-affirming pleasure of spending time in nature – that’s why we don’t just find you somewhere to stay, we tell you all the brilliant things you can do outdoors while you’re there. Is Dorset worth visiting?

Dorset’s scenery is world-famous, and you can’t travel far without stumbling across an iconic landmark like Lulworth Cove, Corfe Castle or the ancient cobbles of steep Gold Hill in Shaftesbury. Not to mention Durdle Door, Old Harry Rocks and Chesil Beach. Fortunately, Dorset is also awash with pretty, bunting-clad towns like Bridport and Lyme Regis, where you can stop for delicious refreshments and a leisurely browse of the independent shops and bustling markets.
