Why choose dog-friendly cabins with Canopy & Stars?

At Canopy & Stars we don’t just list dog-friendly cabins on our website, we visit them in person and stay overnight. We make sure they meet our high standards for comfort and character and get to know the owners who are usually walking treasure troves of local knowledge. They know the best dog-friendly pubs, the most scenic walks and the most exhilarating outdoor activities close by. Funnily enough, many of them are dog owners themselves, and will go out of their way to give yours a warm welcome.

About dog-friendly cabins in Wales with Canopy & Stars

Who we are

We’re a small, independent team on a mission to help people live a life more wild. We love the great outdoors, but this really isn’t camping and there’s not a tent peg in sight. Our cabins have a whole host of luxuries like proper beds (with cloud-like comfort levels), modern bathrooms and coffee machines. We avoid ‘same old’ at all costs and dedicate our days to seeking out memorable, playful spaces where you can connect with nature.

Our dog-friendly cabins in Wales

We’ve got more than twenty dog friendly cabins in Wales, each with something unique to offer. There’s a cool, curved hilltop cabin near miles of mountain bike trails, a slick cedar and glass structure with views of Sugarloaf, and a tiny house with a hot tub near ancient waterfalls. What they all have in common is doorstep access to the verdant beauty of the Welsh landscape.

We care about responsible travel

People and planet are at the heart of our business, so we’re on a mission to promote responsible travel with minimal environmental impact. We’re one of the highest scoring B Corps in travel, we’ve pledged to achieve net zero carbon by 2030 and we’ve limited the number of spaces we offer in regions at risk of over-tourism.
