Dog-friendly cabins in Devon

Hidden among the ancient hedgerows and undulating green fields of Devon, one of our dog-friendly cabins is waiting to transport you, Narnia-style, to a simpler life immersed in nature. Before you start to explore, take a moment to sit on the deck and listen to the birds, while steam rises from the hot tub and the smell of sizzling sausages wafts over from the firepit. When your dog starts to get restless, Devon is the huge back garden you’ve always dreamed of with two coastlines, bucket-and-spade beaches, wild moorland and a mouthwatering farmers market around every corner.

Why choose dog-friendly cabins with Canopy & Stars?

You and your dog can be as active and adventurous, or blissfully lazy, as you like at one of our dog-friendly cabins in Devon. About dog-friendly cabins in Devon with Canopy & Stars

Who we are

Canopy & Stars are the leading voice in unique outdoor holidays and our glamping superpowers are largely thanks to our network of brilliant owners. We work closely with them to ensure their cabins are built responsibly and sustainably and in return they fill our notepads with expert knowledge about the local area and insider ideas for memorable days out. If there’s a great beach, a cosy pub, a breathtaking viewpoint or a friendly alpaca within ten miles, the chances are we know about it.

Our dog-friendly cabins in Devon

In Devon, we’ve got 14 hot tubs, 6 outdoor baths, 6 saunas, 11 places on the coast, 3 in National Landscapes and 1 in a National Park. You can stay in a mind-blowingly stylish clifftop cabin with sea views, a music lovers retreat with a recording studio and a romantic love nest in the middle of Europe’s first Dark Sky Reserve. Some of this might be lost on your dog, but the fresh air and vast open certainly won’t be.

We care about responsible travel

There’s no avoiding the fact that travel leaves a carbon footprint, but we’re doing everything we can to reduce our environmental impact and promote positive change in the glamping sector. We’ve pledged to become net zero by 2030 and we’re limiting the amount of places we represent in over touristed areas. Find out more about this, and how we’re supporting equality in access to nature, by reading our impact report.

What to do with your dog in Devon

In the spirit of brevity, some of the many highlights include kayaking on the River Dart or the Salcombe Estuary, running wild on Saunton Sands, fossil hunting around Jurassic cliffs and spotting wild ponies on Exmoor. Not forgetting to sample Salcombe Dairy’s delicious ice cream and munch artisan cheese from Quickes.
