A Wild Weekend with Julius Roberts

In Wild Weekends we give you the chance to experience a weekend in nature, through the eyes of someone new. There are five great guests and we'll be sharing one episode a month. In episode three, we join chef Julius Roberts as he swaps his own farm, for an altogether more relaxing one on the other side of Dorset. After settling into his hut, Julius heads off to meet the farm's resident herd of red deer and stock up on supplies from the on-site honesty shop. As evening falls he rustles up a farm-to-table feast.

Stories from the wild

A Life More Wild

Our award-winning podcast is back for series 4

Series 4 of A Life More Wild is back to take you outdoors, wherever you are. In episode 10, we join Venetia La Manna as she takes a walk near her Gloucestershire home and talks about the power of collective action.

Foraged by Fern: Wild mushroom pasta

We spoke to Fern Freud, a forager, wild wanderer and the genius behind Foraged with Fern. Based in Sussex, she makes wild swimming, canoeing and hiking part of a day’s work and uses her in-depth knowledge of the wild around her to find delicious dishes hidden in the hedgerows. We found out how easy it was to make a phenomenal, foraged mushroom pasta dish!

Reasons to go glamping in autumn

Slow down this autumn on a glamping break where you can watch nature prepare for the colder months in a last hurrah of riotous colour. Pull on a chunky knit, grab a pumpkin latte and embrace cosy season with hearty comfort food, leaf-kicking long walks and leisurely evenings playing board games and watching movies.
