Overview
As you’d expect, Hercules is one of the larger living wagons at Spring Park, and is completely self-contained with a cabin style bedroom and large shower room behind a reclaimed carriage door. The original English Rose kitchen has been repainted to reflect the period feel, and 1940’s cinema seats and a little built-in table make for a romantic meal with all the glamour of the era. A curved roof and painted oak beams frame your sturdy living space, which Kitty and Paddy have filled with little vintage trinkets, adding their own personal touch to the place. Hercules has his own quiet patch of mixed woodland with a fire pit just outside where you can cook an evening meal before a soak in the hot tub whilst watching the stars. Wander around Spring Park and you may meet your neighbours - from colourful wagons to tin chapels.
There are books and games inside, but if you do want to go adventuring why not pack up a picnic and go off exploring the area, maybe off to the beaches on the north coast for surfing, walking across Dartmoor or wandering through the local villages and visiting the markets.

Meet Kitty & Paddy
Kitty and Paddy run Spring Park with Kitty's parents Peter and Di and children Billy and Gabe, and they still can’t quite believe what a beautiful place they've ended up in! They used to run two little boutiques on Falmouth's Old High Street selling homewares, vintage finds and handmade dresses, and loves anything old or vintage...
Kitty has now happily found the perfect home for all her vintage treasures, hidden throughout the spaces at Spring park, and has lots of plans for trips out to the flea markets and villages to find more. Kitty grew up here so will be rediscovering old haunts and Paddy loves a trip to the coast to go surfing. Their two dogs Jess and Peggy can’t believe their luck at moving into such a lovely home in the countryside, and Peggy particularly loves saying hello to guests too!
Wildlife & Environment
In a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and with an Site of Special Scientific Interest nearby, you'll be absolutely spoiled when it comes to wildlife spotting. If you sit outside by the fire pit, you'll probably see rabbits, birds and bats, and even deer have been spotted wandering across the gardens.

Lovely place. Exceeded expectations and the small touches were what really made it.
21/02/2025Leannr
The most relaxing getaway we have ever had! Hercules is lovely. Cosy and beautifully presented. All you could need in the van. Wood burner is easy to use and heats the van very efficiently. Tea, coffee, sugar and cooking oil provided (we didn't know and had brought our own). Cute welcome gift. Plenty of towels, shower is great. Hot tub is lovely, takes about 2 hours to heat. Spring Park is tucked away but easy to get to. Great for a base to explore from or lovely enough to just spend your day there. Didn't want to leave. We will defiantly be visiting again!
31/01/2025Hilary
We had the perfect stay for a quiet little getaway to escape from everything. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the place itself was so cozy.
16/12/2024Samuel
Very peaceful holiday, absolutely great for this time of year when you get cosy by the wood burner, jump in the hot tub and stargaze on a freezing night and truly relax.
18/11/2024Justyna
We choose this place because it offered what we were looking for, interesting and character full accommodation surrounded by trees and countryside with a wood fired hot tub. What more would you want?
13/11/2024James
We loved our relaxing quiet time in Hercules
08/11/2024Vicki
We spent a wonderful 4 nights at Hercules, which is just perfectly situated for exploring northern Cornwall and Devon. One day, we enjoyed a hike along a river on Dartmoor, followed by the best meal of our trip at Tors Inn. Another day we explored beautiful Trebarwith Strand and Boscastle. We also visited the stunning Golitha Falls followed by another wonderful meal at Inkies Smokehouse. On our way home, we visited Bude. There was so much more we wanted to see and do - we’ll definitely be back!
04/11/2024Hannah
Me and my partner stayed 3 nights in Hercules for my 30th birthday. It was fantastic! Lovely cosy and clean accommodation, the decor and attention to details really made it a unique stay and a warm welcome card, local beer and cider and biscuits was a lovely touch. The wood fired hot tub was certainly a highlight for us! We will be back to stay at spring park again for sure! We chose to visit tintagel castle, port isaac and tavistock, which were very easy day trips from this location. There were so many more places we wanted to visit which we will be sure to do next time!
18/10/2024Rosie
We had a magical time at Hercules! The directions to the site were perfect, check-in was seamless, the owners Kitty and Paddy had even left us a welcome gift. The wagon itself is gorgeous but the wood-fired hot tub and pizza oven on the sunset deck are the standout features. We loved stargazing each night from the tub.
30/09/2024Chloe
Hercules is a delightful place. It's neat, compact and everything you need is there, including books and games. It rained almost the enitre time we were there so those came in handy. As indeed did the hot tub. Hot tubbing in the rain is magic. Only minor complaint, and this is petty, the knifes could do with a good sharpening.
06/09/2024Bob
We had a brief and enjoyable two nights while attending a nearby wedding. It definitely did the job and was extremely relaxing
26/08/2024Susan
Had a fantastic 2 nights stay at Hercules. The location was perfect for a tranquil relaxing few days away from home. The setting was wonderful with trees all around making Hercules very secluded giving the impression that you were the only people there on the site. The wagon itself was comfortable and in keeping with the time it was made. The interior is well thought out with everything you need. Lovely not to have a television! Unfortunately we didn't get around to using the hot tub as we were too busy chilling but the view from up there was amazing.
21/08/2024Susan
Had a fabulous stay in Hercules. Unfortunately the weather meant that we were unable to enjoy the outside facilities, the hot tub and pizza oven. But this meant that we had a couple of quiet evenings snuggled uo indoors listening to the wind and rain. It didn't spoil our stay at all.
12/06/2024Sue
Had a lovely weekend staying at Hercules, facilities are excellent. Loved the wood fire hot tub and pizza oven. Very simple to use, just don’t use too much wood. Very lucky to have such good weather that always makes it better. Such a great base to explore from. Will recommend to anyone! It’s the best place we have stayed so far !! Paddy and family easy to contact and very helpful and friendly.
31/05/2024Mark
We absolutely loved our stay at Hercules. We made use of the hot tub and the pizza oven, and relaxed while we watched the farmers working in the fields. The wagon has clearly been curated with love and everything is so carefully thought through. Lots of beautiful retro and creative aspects to the wagon, but they feel natural and are not overdone. Everything you might need has been thought of and provided. We had dinner at The Springer Spaniel one night, which was really, really good. Another day we did a trip to Looe. We had plenty to keep us occupied and didn't even think about the TV!
20/05/2024Genette
Had the best stay in this vintage wagon! It contained everything we could have asked for, clean and in good working order and the wood fired hot tub was just incredible!
03/04/2024Jack
We loved every minute of our stay. The wagon was beautifully designed, clean, comfortable and restful and the grounds so natural and relaxing. A great location for the moors or the coast.
25/03/2024Alison
Amazing! Absolutely stunning location, lovely greeting of a bottle of fizz chocolate cake and a lovely card. Kitty and Paddy are amazing hosts..
22/03/2024Amanda
Really really lovely place to stay! We came here for a cheeky little elopement and it was Super cosy and the hot tub was amazing. Wish we had stayed an extra night.
12/02/2024Georgia
Absolutely lovely and just what we needed. Beautiful spot and so quiet. Hercules had everything we needed and more, fully equipment kitchen, cozy fire waiting to be lit and a beautiful hot tub and view.
05/02/2024Angie
Was the most beautiful place. Very cozy.
03/01/2024Lucy
Lovely wagon, bigger than expected, enjoyed the hot tub, had everything we needed.
29/12/2023Ria
We stayed at Hercules from 13-15 Nov and had a wonderful experience! It’s incredibly quiet, clean & cosy. Just what we needed!
13/11/2023Alexandra
It was lovely and so peaceful. Just started to unwind and then had to leave. Hercules looked bigger in the pictures but nevertheless was great. Every little extra supplied like salt pepper washing up liquid tea towels scubbers etc and every utensil you could need although i did bring everything in case. Shower was lovely and large and wood burner heated the van in no time in fact too much even in Nov. Hot tub alot bigger than we have had in past so was great and weather held off. Beautiful place. Had a wander around and all units looked beautiful. Great recyling set up too. Any lovely stay. Xx
10/11/2023Donna
It was a lovely weekend, we loved every minute of our stay. We’d be back in a heartbeat.
03/11/2023Jessica
Peaceful, tranquil and idyllic! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The decor was so cosy. We loved having a private area all to ourselves.
18/09/2023Sarah
What a delightful place to unwind !!! Everything you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of work life Totally recharged Thank you for a super relaxing break
15/09/2023Simon
A truly relaxing and enjoyable stay at Hercules for our first wedding anniversary. The place is beautiful, and you get so much private space. So often these places cram people in to make money, but not so here! We have a reactive dog and it is so hard to find places we can go with him, but this was absolutely perfect.
18/08/2023Amy
Our second time at Hercules as we knew we would return just minutes after our first stay. Beautiful, peaceful, and clean. Loved nights by the fire and in the hot tub staring at starry skies. Love Cornwall, love spring park and had such a smooth and easy booking thanks to canopy and stars, even when the remainder of the stay couldn't be taken while I was on holiday, they reached out by email and it was sorted within minutes over the phone. Booked both our trips here through canopy and stars and will deffo book with them again.
14/08/2023Jas
It was love at first site when we pulled up with golden sunlight streaming through the trees, and lighting up Hercules in all of its bold quirky glory....we felt like decadent Romans with artichoke goats cheese olive and mozzarella pizza....then dipping into the hot tub with chilled bubbles to steam gently with the setting sun in view over fields...made all the more wonderful by gentle drizzle...thanks too for every little detail considered making us feel welcomed, and cared for with love...all in, a return to explore is a given....
11/08/2023Richard
Wonderfull, quiet and romantic, is was all we could dream of.
12/06/2023Walter
Idyllic woodland setting with only the sound of birdsong to be heard. A wonderful showman’s wagon with sympathetic decor and furnishings.
02/06/2023Suzie
Came for a quite few days away from the chaos of life. This place certainly provided a well relaxed few days
29/05/2023Kieran
Hercules was cosy and secluded with lovely homely touches. The owners left plenty of firewood, enough to last us our whole stay, even with heating up the hot tub twice. We were left to our own devices but the owners were only down the road and let us know that if we needed anything at all we just had to ask.
03/03/2023Antonia
Our stay in Hercules at Spring Park was lovely. The facilities in the trailer were great. Although we didn't see the owners very often, when we did they were friendly and really helpful. They left a few welcome gifts such as ale and a lovely few slices of homemade cake, also as we'd brought our dog they also left some dog biscuits which we really appreciated.
20/02/2023Naomi
Absolutely beautiful cabin, in a really quiet and peaceful location. So much thought has gone into the place and it really shows. Kitty, Paddy, Di and Pete were all very welcoming and accommodating. There were handmade delicious treats and festive extras gifted to us when we arrived (I'm not sure who the cake baker is but my goodness, they're the best cakes EVER!) They thoughtfully put up a Christmas tree too so it felt truly magical over Christmas staying here. We felt truly spolit. It really is those little touches that make such a big difference. We also tried out the hot tub and the pizza oven which we're both excellent. Wonderful views from the hot tub. All in all one of the best places we have ever stayed and don't want to leave! Highley recommend to everyone!
23/12/2022Claire
We stayed at the Hercules for my husband's birthday at the end of November. The location was very picturesque, even with the gloomy weather. The wagon was perfect for the two of us and our dog. We had everything we could possibly need and loved the quirky features of the Hercules. We ran out of gas at some point which was quickly addressed by the owners and no fuss at all. Half way through the stay we were already planning to come back in spring/ summer time
28/11/2022Kasia
It was absolutely perfect. It looked exactly like the pictures, if not better, and was so peaceful and tranquil. The cabin was beautiful with so much attention to detail and the setting was beautiful. It was clean, tidy and well looked after.
26/08/2022Abigail
We stayed Monday through Friday and absolutely loved our visit. My partner and I needed a peaceful getaway and couldn't recommend Spring Park more highly. Wonderful place, really helpful hosts and just fantastic overall.
22/08/2022Ross
Just fantastic. Can say enough good things. The space the privacy the accommodation everything was superb. We Will be going back.
29/07/2022Matthew
A lovely little getaway in the middle of a very quiet woodland, great facilities and the hosts left you alone which I liked.
27/06/2022Trish
Extremely well set up accomodation! Lovely welcome from Kitty when we arrived. Everything was very nicely secluded and cosy.
24/06/2022Jon
There is nothing to fault about Spring Parc. Communication prior to arriving was great including a PDF of all the things you needed to know. Despite the owners (Kitty & Paddy) being away in France, they had Kitty's Mum running the place and she was lovely and extremely welcoming. And, Paddy was on other end of the phone if needed. Upon arriving Hercules was spotless, set up with logs and had a lovely little hand written note from Kitty & Paddy along with some Cornish Ales and Ciders. We had booked our dog to come with us and we found a dog bowl and treats inside which was a lovely touch! The Hot Tub views were to die for. Again, we were supplied enough logs to heat the tub more than once. The pizza oven was a great touch and the BBQ too! The water pressure and heat within Hercules was perfect, pleasantly surprised by the great pressure! Location was great too, next to the little town of Launceston which we visited including the local pub The Bell with recommendation from the gardener that we bumped into upon leaving. Genuinely had the most amazing time and will definitely be recommending to friends and family as well as coming back ourselves!
06/06/2022Natalie
Hercules was a most marvelous place to stay. Fabulous accommodation and set in gorgeous grounds. A wonderful find which we hope to return to at some point in the future.

Beautiful accommodation (comfy bed, large kitchen/dining area without compromising on the esthetic) so quirky and with an amazing outdoor space, loved the raised decking for the pizza / outdoor dining area and hot tub the privacy we had was brilliant barely saw anyone and loved the fact that it was still under over even outside (specially for the British summers). That raised decking really takes advantage of the field views. I felt like I was in my very own woodland yet I was on a holiday park (which I beleive was fully booked and I am not surprised) .

What a fantastic place to stay. Beautiful showman’s cabin and sunset view from the hot tub. It is well designed with lots of space and privacy. I could not have asked for better. We had everything we needed. Super tranquil and relaxing. Wildflowers in abundance and bird life. Will definitely visit again.

This was the third time we have stayed at Spring Park, the location is exactly what we are looking for, it's quite woodland with lovely atmosphere, the accommodation is unique and interesting each place has its own charm with lots of features you would be hard to find anywhere else. The amount of work put in to each property is outstanding and a real credit to the owners. We intend to return at the end of the year to try another of the accommodations as we would be hard hit to find anything close to the great experience we have had on our last few visits.

We stayed for 3 nights as part of our silver wedding celebrations. We were so impressed with everything. Hercules was spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly need including little extras like the welcome bottles of beer and cider and the log burner ready setup. The view from the hot tub is beautiful and perfect for relaxing in after a long walk. We were pleasantly surprised at how much firewood was provided and how easy the hot tub was to heat up. We honestly couldn't have asked for a more relaxing place.
13/05/2022Kerry
This is a wonderful area to stay, quiet and peaceful, beautiful views and lots of interesting places to go and visit and walk.
15/04/2022Philip
Where do I start!! Wow wow wow!!! What an amazing trailer! Everything you can think of has been thought of. Paddy & Kitty are wonderful hosts. The location is perfect to get away from it all. The log burner, the wood fired hot tub just simply beautiful. My partner has never stayed anywhere like this before, I’m a camper but even this blew my mind!
11/04/2022Joanna
Peaceful, relaxing and a real escape from reality. The hot tub had views over the fields which was amazing and the cabin has everything we needed. It was tucked away from any other cabin which is what we wanted so it felt like you had the whole place to yourself
14/03/2022Tamara
We had the most gorgeous stay in Hercules; the cabin was incredible and being welcomed by beer, cider and some homemade cake (absolutely delicious by the way) was a perfect start to our much needed relaxing weekend.
11/02/2022Halle
Us and our little dog loved spending Christmas at Hercules! It was amazing the atmosphere the place everything! Was super well done and easy to navigate through had everything we needed and looked beautiful, the hot tub was jus icing on the cake..! The host was super helpful when I emailed about things and also when we almost got lost just a great 10/10 place! We absolutely loved it!

It was so lovely to be back at Spring Park - it’s been too long! This was our first stay in Hercules and it may now be our favourite wagon. The pizza oven was a great addition and we also made good use of the hot tub.
22/11/2021Helen
We had a very relaxing stay and the 2 dogs loved it. Very cosy and the hot tub was great.
19/11/2021Jennifer
We enjoyed every bit about Hercules, the hot tub, the pizza oven, the fully functioning kitchen and bathroom, the bed was comfy, the whole trailer was cosy. Not a bad word to say!
08/09/2021Jack
It was amazing! We stayed in Hercules and it didn’t feel like we were in the UK. It was lovely and quiet and just magical. The wagon itself was perfect, not too big nor too small. I honestly don’t have any negative comments about any of it
27/08/2021Dean
We had a thoroughly enjoyable time and everything was wonderful. The new hot tub area and pizza oven were a surprise as that wasn't there last time and we used both. Truly spectacular views and wildlife. We came on Monday and left Friday. We went and visited local areas and some further a field.
09/08/2021Sherri
Wonderful place, completely away from the crowds. I took my husband for a 2 night stay for his birthday. It was so tranquil and relaxing and so tastefully decorated/furnished.
12/07/2021Jayne
I had a very chilled and relaxing break reading walking and listening to music. I went to Tavistock a lovely market town. All dog friendly
25/06/2021Candy
Lovely relaxing & peaceful in beautiful surroundings. The drinks & cakes left for our arrival were a lovely (and delicious) surprise
04/06/2021Michelle Lloyd
Hercules is a perfect place to stay, to relax and unwind from the day to day rush of everyday life. After a day out, to sit in the hot tub watching the sun set, listening to nature is an uplifting experience. The addition of a pizza oven is fabulous - great fun, delicious and so quick. The owners paddy and kitty are there if anything is needed and have done such an amazing job adding all the little touches to each wagon making them unique. We have stayed in 4 of the wagons and each have their own character - out aim is to stay in them all!!!! Perfect for dog owners, out pumpkin loved the freedom and enjoyed her morning plays with Peggy Sue and Jessie - the spring park real owners!!! There is no place better and have returned home ready to book again. Wish we could keep this perfect gem secret but can'resist telling everyone!!!!!
31/05/2021Geoff
A thoroughly enjoyable, relaxing experience
26/04/2021Alan
Hercules was fabulous. All you could want if you dont any major frills. Wifi available with mobile phone , no TV. A DAB radio. A full kichen & bathroom and an great outdoor space. A newly built sunset decking with hot tub. Superb. A really good away from it all break.
23/04/2021Andrew
We had a lovely time. We've been a few times before so were happy to spend some time relaxing in the cabin with a couple of trips out to the seaside. There's everything you need in the cabin to stay in and relax if you want. We spent time relaxing and reading by the fire and in the hot tub. It's lovely to be surrounded by trees in your own private space.
04/10/2020Laura
We decided to spend our honeymoon in Cornwall and the Hercules cabin looked perfect - full of character and cosy. A very nice place to return to after a day's exploring. We especially liked having the radio and log burner stove available.
17/08/2020Adam
Stunning! just WOW! absolutely beautiful accommodation and garden. quaint, quiet and secluded. Everything was provided that was needed. Hosts where friendly and welcoming. The general site was very clean and tidy and the way they had refurbished Hercules to this standard was impeccable.
27/07/2020Gregg
It was really lovely - they have made great use of the space. Very unique, restful and private - the ultimate glamping experience. We had a wonderful time.
06/07/2020Anna
I had the MOST relaxing break - Hercules was beautiful and in a lovely setting. Left completely in peace but with friendly faces nearby, if I needed help. Came home feeling restored and re-energised.
16/02/2020Lesley
Love this place. So quiet and private.
19/01/2020Lauren
Unique accommodation
02/01/2020Gabrielle
So relaxing. Everything we needed. Hot tub was so good. Once warmed up just sitting in it was idyllic. Woodburner made wagon so warm and we were welcomed with beer, cider and biscuits. Paddy came to say hello and helped us with the hot tub. We would definitely stay again. We slept so well!
21/12/2019Kelly
We had a wonderful time. Hercules had everything we needed. We got engaged over the weekend and the setting was beautiful.
07/11/2019Sarah
We had a beautiful time, so relaxed. Perfect rest and relaxation. Perfect spot to unwind from the stress of day to day life.
01/11/2019Debbie
Wow! Just wow! We escaped for a long deserved weekend, just the two of us. It was the most relaxed we've been in 5years, just the sounds of wildlife around and crackling of the wood burner. We will 100% be back! Maybe with the kids....or not! The whole place is a dream beautiful setting and the log fired hot tub was perfect, sitting with a drink and watching the stars! Thank you so much kitty and paddy!!
18/10/2019Dave
Had the most amazing stay. Found out about Canopy And Stars through a friend and im gutted i had not heard about you sooner. My partner and i have already booked again to stay at Spring Parc in Feb 2020. Hercules was so tranquil, clean and spacey. The owners had even left us a welcome gift of 2 bottles of cider and some homemade flapjack. Peter who i think said was Kittys father showed us around 5 of the other properties which were just as amazing. The hot tubs are fantastic as was the area Spring Parc is in. Once we have had our hoilday in Feb we will then be looking to book up for June or July for my birthday.
15/10/2019Lisa
We had a fabulous relaxing weekend. Just a shame we couldn’t have stayed longer! Typical Autumn weather, but with the log burner lit it was warm and cosy listening to the pouring rain outside. The inside bathroom was definitely a good choice! Both dogs were in heaven, a warm fire and our own little wooded area outside with squirrels to chase! We slept in Saturday and Sunday mornings, it was just so peaceful, no traffic noise or neighbours to disturb us. We tried the log fired hot tub on Sunday evening and while it took a little time to heat up, once hot enough it was heavenly outside amongst the trees with the soft light from the strings if lights. A fabulous ending to a lovely weekend. Would definitely recommend and come back again. A big thank you to my work colleagues for the gift voucher for my 50th birthday, I’d never have found Canopy and Stars and this fabulous place.
11/10/2019Mary
We enjoyed a wonderful two nights stay in Hercules, it’s so cute and quirky! The cabin has everything you could possibly need. We absolutely loved how quiet and relaxing the area was. We are already looking forward to visiting again!
20/09/2019Denise
Fabulous short break in a comfortable property with the added bonus of sunny weather.
16/09/2019Sally
We stayed at spring park last year and wanted to return. Spring park is a beautiful place with each individual accommodation set in its own grounds. Very unique and isolated from others. Accommodation is designed to be vintage style which transports you back to time without the hassle and bustle of the modern life. A real escape from contemporary living.
11/08/2019Sandra
It was absolutely perfect. Every tiny detail was thought of, the hosts came and introduced themselves then left us to be secluded. It was utter perfection. The perfect birthday treat for my partner. I sing their praises and we can’t wait to come back. Was like a dream ❤️
07/06/2019Leah
It is a lovely secluded place. Cozy and warm with what seems like everything you could think of that you might need. It almost made us laugh that we'd worry we'd forgotten to bring something and it was already there. We only met Kitty during the stay but she was extremely nice, made us feel very welcome and that if we needed any help her and Paddy would be available. We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful quaint little wagon and cannot wait to go back.
24/05/2019David
We absolutely love spring park, it's our 3rd time staying there!
29/04/2019Chelsea
We had a perfect stay - very relaxing and left to our own devices without feeling like we were completely secluded.
23/04/2019Lorna
This place is amazing. It is set in peaceful countryside with lots of wildlife running around in the mornings. The wagon itself is great. Quirky decor mixed within the 1930s wagon. So much attention to detail. The bed nook is lovely and you feel like you've travelled back in time. We had beautiful weather so were very lucky. The location is good for going out for the day, around half an hour away from Tintagel, Bude, Boscastle. We loved it. One point to note, if you are tall, you may need to dip your head in the seating area and may not be able to fully stretch your legs in the bed. My husband is just under 6 foot and he was okay but just a note.
16/04/2019Kerry
A really relaxing stay. Fantastic way to get away from the world, stop and re-charge batteries. The hot tub was amazing! Loved the peace and tranquility. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
12/04/2019Jenny
What a wonderful place! We arrived in Cornwall late at night and found the written instructions to the site rather confusing, so we ended up driving past the entrance. When we finally arrived we were greeted by Paddy, the site owner, with a warm welcome and let us know to contact them if we needed any help. The place is stunning, set in a wooded area and surround by nature. The hot tub was perfectly located a little way from the caravan, where you could soak in luxury under the stars. The caravan itself was beautiful, full of character and perfect size for a couple's break. Everything was provided and when we arrived we were given some lovely homemade cakes and Cornish cider, along with a written card, which provided the perfect touch. The area is very quiet and was a joy each morning to sit and eat breakfast and see an array of wildlife a few feet away from us. It was such a great holiday and will be returning very soon.
27/03/2019Bethany
It was awesome really lovely location and such perfect accommodation with perfectly thought out interiors
22/03/2019Marcus
What a wonderful little find! She was exactly like she looks in the photos. I don't think I have ever felt so calm and relaxed anywhere before. The host was lovely and helpful on check in and the Hot Tub was amazing. I cannot fault this place!
07/03/2019Emma
We arrived on a very wet and windy day (storm Freya had been) but Kitty showed us how to get the wood burner going and very soon our clothes and shoes were dry and we were lovely and toasty warm. The next day we visited Tintagel, Glebe Cliff and St Nectan’s Glen, then back to Hercules where we cooked our dinner (Hercules had all the crockery and cutlery we needed and a decent cooker) and got the wood burner going again. On our last morning we enjoyed watching the many birds and rabbits outside the window whilst we had breakfast.
03/03/2019Leanne
We had a wonderful weekend away, the weather was gorgeous which made walking around in the picturesque countryside around the adorable Hercules. The wood burning fire was the perfect way to keep warm in the cool evenings. We could not have asked for a better break and cannot wait to go back!
22/02/2019carol
Quite simply, excellent! Secluded, peaceful and a charming location. The wagon had been furnished in a quirky yet unpretentious manner. Not too perfect and the dogs loved it. Felt like we’d been there forever after only an hour.
01/02/2019Clare
We stayed for 2 nights in the cabin Hercules and we were so pleased with our stay. As been to the Duchess previously we knew we wouldn’t be disappointed. Everything is just perfect down to the last comfy cushion. It had everything and more. We even went for a lovely walk around the woodland area and it was so peaceful that we really felt like we had it all to ourselves. The cabins are beautiful, so we thank you so much.
15/12/2018Summer
Lovely, peaceful, cosy retreat for a short break. Friendly welcome from the owners. Well equipped, quirky accommodation. Lovely woodlands nearby to walk our dogs. Weather awful but a perfect excuse to sit, read and relax around the woodburner.
26/11/2018Nicky
Fantastic! It was peaceful, cosy, clean and unique - loved it!
07/11/2018Tiffany
Me and my partner went for the weekend for a little birthday treat for him. We had the most amazing weekend, peaceful and relaxing, just what we were looking for.
28/09/2018Samantha
We stayed at spring park farm for a week and had the pleasure to stay in hercules, which is as lovely as it looks on the pictures. Loved the quirky decor. The wood fired hot tub was a great bonus. If staying at spring park farm I would check out the spaniel pub, which is a 10 minute walk down the road. Overall a great experience had by all. Thanks kit and paddy for creating such a lovely place.
10/09/2018Joanne
Really enjoyable experience. Great quirky accommodation, in a quiet location. Nice local pub nearby 'the Springer Spaniel'. Some good touristy locations within easy driving distance. Really relaxing holiday overall.
29/07/2018Rob
Such a perfect little place to stay! It had everything you needed and it was the most relaxing weekend I’ve had in a long time! The hot tub is insane and I wouldn’t change anything!
06/07/2018Charlie
It was peaceful and beautiful. The wagon was adorable and comfy , turned all phones off and just read books and ate food and drank gin what more could you want
29/06/2018Louise
Lovely location and an amazing cabin really relaxing a perfect place to celebrate the end of University.
18/06/2018Alex
Hercules is very cute. The location is peaceful. There is noise from the other huts which are quite nearby but not enough to complain about really. The owners were very good, leaving flapjacks on our arrival, and milk in the fridge which was much appreciated for a cup of tea when we arrived. The hot tub is lovely, but note that it can get too hot - we couldn't get into it on the first night because we'd packed the fire a bit much and it literally stayed scorching hot all night long. We learned the next night and put the fire out once it had reached optimum temperature. Great stay overall.
30/05/2018Danielle
Absolutely lovely and Unique getaway. The site was so peaceful with a really large private area outside Hercules. It left us torn between exploring the area and relaxing at the site. The owners really have attention to detail with the atmosphere and facilities from the kitchen amenities to the lovely log burning hot tub.
05/05/2018rebecca
I surprised my partner with a trip to Spring Park for his 40th. We stayed in Hercules and it was fantastic. Great decor, cosy yet spacious and lovely touches like the wine and shortbread on arrival. We made use of the BBQ and hot tub, which felt secluded and had a great view and we even saw rabbits hopping around each morning. A truly special place :)
13/04/2018Laura
We had the most amazing stay in Hercules. It was so beautiful and the attention to detail was fantastic. Our hosts were really nice and it was great to be given a tour of all the other abodes. The cake and wine on arrival was also a really nice touch. We had a lovely walk to the pub too!
18/03/2018Lauren
This was amazing, we were very impressed with the contact that we had from Kitty at the point of booking and this followed through the whole stay. We had a great welcome on arrival, not only had they put out some home made flapjack for us (and a bottle of wine), they also left out dog bowls, a dog towel and treats for murphy. The place is an amazing retreat, no tv, no wifi just relaxation and exploring and the hot tub! It was exactly what we were looking for.
04/03/2018Maria
It was wonderful! The cabin was warm and draft free, the hot tub was great everything went smoothly
14/02/2018Steph
Excellent, excellent, excellent!!!
04/02/2018Christine
Lovely place, I would totally recommended it! Everything was ready when we got there and we spent a great weekend.
24/11/2017Sara
We had a wonderful stay in the Hercules Wagon at Spring Park. The location was perfect, so quiet and peaceful and plenty of places to visit with Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor a short drive away. The wagon was stunning with a fabulous quirky feel and had all the necessities you needed. It was extremely cosy and the fire was lovely. We used the hot tub a couple of times which was very relaxing and the view of the stars was magical. We took our dog too and he loved it, it was a home away from home! We will definitely be returning in the future!
10/09/2017Becky
Lovely location, we stayed in Hercules. It was well laid out and there was more room than anticipated. There was also on site parking, a private garden area, firepit/BBQ and a hot tub. It is near a fantastic pub with great food. Kitty came and made us welcome as soon as we arrived. All in all a beautiful place.
13/07/2017Kimberley
Just loved our stay at hurcules. Do not have a bad word to say about any of it, loved having a working kitchen and bathroom with hot shower and toilet unlike other glamping places we have been to. Everything from the welcome wine and cake to the up-cycled furniture made it an unusual but amazing place to stay. We will definitely be back.
29/05/2017Amy
It's was an amazing stay we really enjoyed it and how quiet it was
30/09/2016Lynda
We had the most relaxing time. Exactly what we needed after a very busy, travel filled working week. We stayed Friday and Saturday night and despite the other rentals all being occupied, it was quiet and peaceful. Hercules itself is a beautiful mix of vintage charm and quirky fun. We loved the bathroom door! We were greeted shortly after arriving then left to our own devices with a lovely bottle of wine and some cherry bakewell! Perfect hosts, perfect accommodation, perfect weekend.
22/07/2016Joanne
It was lovely! Hercules is very comfortable, cozy and feels completely isolated in its own little glade. Paddy was very welcoming and there was a lovely bottle of wine and some biscuits waiting for us when we arrived. We had relaxing evenings in and spent the Saturday having a lovely walk and a drink in the pub. We'd definitely stay again!
01/07/2016Charlene
We had a lovely stay-hercules is a lovely wagon with all the essentials (the shower is really good!) we loved having breakfast in our private woodland and chilling in the wagon at night. We stayed at spring Park before in the duchess - highly recommend it to others it's super :) hope to be back again next year!
28/05/2016Janet
We had the most fantastic time at Spring Park. Hercules was everything we could've imagined he was. Stunning to see and so so cozy inside. Paddy and Kitty have put so much effort into everything, from the gorgeous crockery to the amazing views from every window. Paddy showed us around the rest of the site and oh my goodness! There are 5 other stunning reasons to return to Spring Park.
09/05/2016Taz
Our stay was at the end of a lovely week away in Cornwall that we had been staying in yurts. The Luxury (with a capital L) of Hercules was incredible. The photographs really don't do this place justice. We arrived in sunshine and immediately cracked open a beer to appreciate the sunlight glinting through the Ash to the bluebells below, while the dogs bounded about and were greeted by Brook and Peggy. The inside of Hercules is surprisingly big, beautifully furnished and so well though out. A warm and powerful shower with lots of space. We were comfortable, warm, dry (it lashed it down the next day) and dreamt of living the showman's lifestyle. The small details really are wonderful, from matching plates and decorations to train doors and theatre seats...just wonderful! The dogs were very pleased. So were we! Merlot says that he'll write to his holiday romance girlfriend, Peggy! :-)
21/04/2016April
We had the most wonderful stay in Hercules. Everything was perfect from arrival to departure, and Kitty and Paddy helped make sure we had the most relaxing stay. Thank you. Whiskey dog also had just the best time. Thank you SO much x
18/04/2016naomi
A lovely weekend retreat in beautiful countryside with our dog. The property is is perfectly situated in its own little woodland area ideal for the dog to explore while we relaxed with a cup of tea and a good nook. Comfortable and ecclecric, Hercules is the perfect getaway.
15/04/2016Jayne
Hercules is a beautiful place to stay and the owners' love for it shone through in the carefully restored wagon. An utter delight!
26/02/2016Claire
It was fantastic. Amazing setting, lovely family and the most unique experience.
12/09/2015Sara
Fantastic 2 night stay in this delightful wagon! We were gob smacked by the attention to detail and vintage feel of the interior and also the lovely secluded feel.
17/08/2015Robin
A lovely mid-week get away at a rather special place. Bright sunshine through the spring woods, a warm and lovely hidy hole away from the rat race. Cake and Wine waiting on arrivial.
08/04/2015Dom
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the unique and quirky Hercules. Shabby chic at its "chic-est"! We were happy with the secluded location, no wireless and no TV! Don't change, just what was needed, true escapism. Mobiles off
06/03/2015Barry
This place was everything we wanted and more!!!! My wife and I was looking for a quiet quirky place to spend her birthday weekend and I decided to suprise her with this place and she was made up. Friendly and polite hosts to welcome you on arrival with all the information you need for your stay, they are also on site for assistance if needed. All in all we left really relaxed and content after our mini break/adventure and have already been talking of our return one day............
07/02/2015Rossi
"We had a wonderful Christmas break at spring park. We stayed in the beautiful Hercules cabin, with our own little forest. Kitty and paddy were so welcoming and we even had our own Christmas tree and decorations! It was perfect for us as it was very dog friendly too. We will be going back again and again!"
24/12/2014Julia
"It was a magnificent break from the monotony of the working life. The three nights were filled with fine food, courtesy of the highly recommended Springer Spaniel pub and yours truly, wine, fire and the Scrabble Championship of Rezare. Coming home to the warm and welcoming embrace of Hercules after days spent by the Atlantic Ocean was perfect. A real experience and one I hope to repeat many times in the future"
14/12/2014Will

"Our trip was truly magical. From time of booking through to leaving, the owners touched based in the right ways. Upon arrival, the wagon was just perfect, even through to the complimentary cake, wine and marshmallows! We were so taken a back by their generosity. The location was perfect for venturing the Cornish coast and there were so many surreal places to visit nearby. The wagon was in a great secluded spot so the dogs could run around how they pleased! We loved every minute and cant wait to return!"'

Perfect stay. Hercules was lovely, weather was very kind. Paddy and Kitty thoughtful as ever. A wonderful chilled out break
10/03/2025David

03/06/2022Ishbel
Beautiful accommodation (comfy bed, large kitchen/dining area without compromising on the esthetic) so quirky and with an amazing outdoor space, loved the raised decking for the pizza / outdoor dining area and hot tub the privacy we had was brilliant barely saw anyone and loved the fact that it was still under over even outside (specially for the British summers). That raised decking really takes advantage of the field views. I felt like I was in my very own woodland yet I was on a holiday park (which I beleive was fully booked and I am not surprised) .
30/05/2022Ruth
What a fantastic place to stay. Beautiful showman’s cabin and sunset view from the hot tub. It is well designed with lots of space and privacy. I could not have asked for better. We had everything we needed. Super tranquil and relaxing. Wildflowers in abundance and bird life. Will definitely visit again.
27/05/2022Shelly
This was the third time we have stayed at Spring Park, the location is exactly what we are looking for, it's quite woodland with lovely atmosphere, the accommodation is unique and interesting each place has its own charm with lots of features you would be hard to find anywhere else. The amount of work put in to each property is outstanding and a real credit to the owners. We intend to return at the end of the year to try another of the accommodations as we would be hard hit to find anything close to the great experience we have had on our last few visits.
18/05/2022James
24/12/2021Delara

We had the most relaxing time. Exactly what we needed after a very busy, travel filled working week. We stayed Friday and Saturday night and despite the other rentals all being occupied, it was quiet and peaceful. Hercules itself is a beautiful mix of vintage charm and quirky fun. We loved the bathroom door! We were greeted shortly after arriving then left to our own devices with a lovely bottle of wine and some cherry bakewell! Perfect hosts, perfect accommodation, perfect weekend.

We had a lovely stay-hercules is a lovely wagon with all the essentials (the shower is really good!) we loved having breakfast in our private woodland and chilling in the wagon at night. We stayed at spring Park before in the duchess - highly recommend it to others it's super :) hope to be back again next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the unique and quirky Hercules. Shabby chic at its "chic-est"! We were happy with the secluded location, no wireless and no TV! Don't change, just what was needed, true escapism. Mobiles off
